iLiKETRAiNS

iLiKETRAiNS are a post rock band which formed in Leeds, England in 2003. Their songs are composed of expansive orchestral and guitar-based sounds. They consist of David Martin (vocals, guitar), Guy Bannister (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Alistair Bowis (bass, vocals) and Simon Fogal (drums). They work on concept albums which are also optically represented on stage, by means of video projections and the band's actual image (the mournings on their arms for example).

Rumour Cubes

Rumour Cubes are a group of 20-something Londoners with a love for all things musical. Taking influences from Explosions In The Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai, among others, the group layer intricate melodies over technical drum beats and delayed guitars. Working with film makers, poets and DJs and using a joystick to control granulated found sounds, Rumour cubes focus as much on the experience as the music itself. An evening in their company will certainly be different.

UnKindness Of Ravens

UnKindness Of Ravens (UKOR) calls themselves "the grand exposition of musical scribble." It is a group that experiments with new sound, improvisation, and the creative exposition of emotion not present in many experimental groups. UKOR's music delves into the avant garde by way of flirting with influences from the space rock, jazz, blues, gothic, entheogenic, and world scenes. UnKindness Of Ravens (UKOR) was formed in 1991 as an experiment with unconventional sound construction.

The Lowland Hundred

Marooned in Aberystwyth, UK, blind chance and a shared fascination with the British seaside brought together Paul Newland and Tim Noble. On deserted beaches and vertiginous coastal paths, in ancient woodlands and derelict mines, conversations veered wildly from myth to fact, sea to sky, waking to dreaming, cartography to psychogeography, song to instrumental, melody to rhythm
