InVertigo

There are two artist named Invertigo:
1. Invertigo were an Australian four-piece pop/rock group
2. InVertigo is a Neo-Progressive rock band from Germany
1. Invertigo were an Australian four-piece pop/rock group active in the early 2000s. Its members were Christian Argenti as well as brothers Gerry Leigh ( Gerome William Leigh, James Leigh and Vince Leigh (the latter two of which were former members of Pseudo Echo).

Callisto

There is more than one artist with this name. 1) Callisto is a Finnish experimental metal band (Turku, Finland 2001-present). Trying to fit the post-metal outfit Callisto into one single category hardly does the band justice. Founded in 2001, the sextet play a timeless, downbeat yet melancholic style of music that is rich in nuances, draws from numerous sources and doesn't really have any obvious fellow creatures or points of comparisons.

Caspian

Caspian is an American instrumental rock band from Beverly, Massachusetts. The band formed in Autumn of 2003 and played their first concert in August of 2004. After releasing their debut EP You Are the Conductor (Dopamine, 2005), the band spent most of 2006 touring The United States and Canada and writing their debut full-length record The Four Trees (Dopamine, 2007). "The Four Trees" was released in the U.S. on April 10, Japan on May 2 and in Europe in July of 2008. Both albums were produced by the band and recorded in Boston with Ethan Dussault at New Alliance studios.

Ornaments

There are at least three artists that go by the name Ornaments: 1) A collective of musicians from Bowling Green, Ohio. Their self-titled EP of original Christmas songs was released as a digital download on December 19, 2009. 2) A three-piece indie-rock outfit from Ottawa, Canada. The members are: David (guitar and vocals), Casey (bass, vocals, keys), and Kevin (drums, percussion, vocals). They formed in the spring of 2009. Their first EP is due to be released sometime in late 2009. 3) An instrumental quartet from Italy, described as such on their MySpace page:

Meandthetwins

MeandthetwinS are an instrumental band that started out in 1998 when Rachel, Laura and Paul met at art college in Hartlepool. They began playing a mix of noisy feedback and quiet acoustic music inspired by a mutual love of Low, Aerial M, Pavement, Mogwai, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth among many others. Their sound changed and became bigger after relocation to Newcastle, when Narbi joined the band to play drums around 2001.

Stars of the Lid

Stars of the Lid are a band specializing in -based music. They list among their influences minimalist and electronic composers such as Arvo Pärt, Zbigniew Preisner, Gavin Bryars, and Henryk Górecki, as well as Talk Talk (both bands have tracks named "Taphead"), post-rock artists Labradford, and ambient innovator Brian Eno. Their music largely consists of beatless soundscapes, composed of droning, effects-treated guitars along with piano, strings, and horns; volume swells and feedback fill the gap of rhythmic instruments, providing dynamic movement within the songs.

This Will Destroy You

This Will Destroy You is an instrumental American post-rock band from San Marcos, Texas. The band is made up of Chris King, Raymond Brown, Jeremy Galindo, and Andrew Miller. Raymond Brown has since gone to medical school and handed the torch to Donovan Jones, who joined in February of '08. They are signed to Magic Bullet. The band formed in 2005 and released the EP which was originally supposed to be the band's demo, Young Mountain, the same year. The EP received favorable reviews. They released their self-titled debut album on January 29, 2008.

52 Commercial Road

Formed in late 2003 at the age of seventeen, 52 Commercial Road have been developing the post-rock sound far beyond the loud-quiet riffs we're used to. Emotive soundscapes built on fragile foundations become crescendous taking the listener to introspective worlds never explored. The band have become most well known through being part of various projects in London,UK aimed at the re-use of derelict and empty spaces from benefit nights, to art exhibitions to squat parties.
