Goober Patrol

In the early 90’s, four complete loons decided to pick up instruments and make a racket. The resulting din required a name that embodied both their incredible musical prowess and their extreme knack for silliness. The only fitting moniker was GOOBER PATROL. Having garnered overwhelmingly positive response to their first two albums, GOOBER PATROL suddenly realized that fans were rabidly multiplying. Folks were looking beyond the band’s early image of ‘hillbillies with wind problems’ and seeing them for what they truly are: some very talented little bastards!

The Buzzcocks

Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Manchester, UK in 1975, led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Pete Shelley for nearly their entire existence. They are commonly regarded as an important influence on the manchester music scene, the independent record label movement and the punk rock, power pop, pop punk and indie rock genres in general. They are primarily remembered for their singles, a string of would-be hits that combined a strong grasp of pop song craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy.

Arlo

Formed by Nate Greely and Sean Spillane, two Texan transplants in Los Angeles, in 1994, Arlo released their first full length, Up High In The Night, on Sub Pop in 2001. Ryan "Shmedly" Maynes joined the group soon after and contributed songs to the second album Stab The Unstoppable Hero. The group disbanded in early 2004 after the departure of their second drummer (and former child prodigy/session musician) Joaquin Revuelta. Spillane went on to join Midway.

Teenage Fanclub

Teenage Fanclub are an alternative rock/power pop band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys" Teenage Fanclub are revered by power-pop fans for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Secret Affair

Secret Affair was fronted by Ian Page and was the second best-selling mod revival band in the UK. Their best known hit singles, 'Time for Action' & 'My World' each sold over 200.000 copies in the UK alone. Secret Affair drummer Seb Shelton left the band after the second album to join Dexys Midnight Runners and was replaced by Paul Bultitude who played on their third album. Secret affair released only three albums, Glory Boys, Behind Closed Doors and Business As Usual, with an Anthology released in 2003 on Sanctuary Music.

The Stiffs

The Stiffs formed in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1977, as a bunch of 15 year old schoolkids, featuring: Phil Hendriks (Lead vocal, Guitar); Ian "Strang" Barnes (Guitar, Backing vocals); John McVittie (Bass, Backing vocals); Tommy O`Kane (Drums).

Their first single 'Standard English' was released in early 1979 on their own Dork Records label.
The much more impressive follow up "Inside Out"/"Kids on the street" was also released on Dork Records in December 1979 and both sides became instant favourites of BBC Radio One`s John Peel...

Subvision

There are two bands with the name Subvision: First, SubVision was formed in 1999 by Australian film composer Braedy Neal, who provided cutting-edge music for Farscape, The Crash Zone, and Dreamtime to Dance. Subvision was soon joined by film and TV composer Chris Neal, and radio DJ Toby Neal, to become a total composing service using state-of-the-art technology. They have produced numerous dramatic underscores for feature films, television drama, documentary, television commercials and corporate productions.
