The Jets

The Jets is the name shared by an American dancepop band and a Dutch band that started as an instrumental rock 'n rollband in the early '60s.
American: Biography by Greg Prato & Steve Huey Eighties teenyboppers the Jets came from an extremely large family (17 children overall) and were comprised of eight of the family's brothers and sisters Leroy, Eddie, Eugene, Haini, Rudy, Kathi, Elizabeth, and Moana Wolfgramm (their parents originally emigrated to the U.S. from the South Pacific nation of Tonga, in 1965, but their offspring were raised in Minneapolis).

Moskitoo

Moskitoo is Sanae Yamasaki (b. 1978), a sound-artist and graphic designer residing in Sapporo, Japan. She began making music in 1997 playing guitar and small casio keyboards in various bands in Sapporo. In 2005 she began writing, playing, and singing under the moniker Moskitoo. "Drape" (2007, 12k1041) was her first full-length release. A 4 track EP with remixes shortly followed, featuring remixes by Frank Bretschneider, Mark Fell and Taylor Dupree, who was also the mastering engineer on "Drape".

Plastique

There are multiple artists under this name: 1) From London, UK, Plastique is a British/Brazilian band filled with pounding dance beats, power-chords, dirty synths and so-sexual-it’s-almost-perverted vocals and lyrics. Gabriel (a producer) and Anelise (an actress) met in London in 2005 and quickly became good friends. They had planned to write music together, however she was already due to return to her native Brazil later that year, so the project was indefinitely put on hold. Back in Brazil she met Fabio (a graphic designer) and returned to London with him in 2009.

The young songwriters and producers called Zachi and Chris make up the band ItaloBrothers. Zachi (Zacharias Adrian, 23) was born in Cologne and is now living in Nordhorn, the place where Kris (Kristian Sandberg aka Christian Müller, 26) and their singer Matze (Matthias Metten, 18) were born and still reside as well. Zachi and Kris met in 2003 at the university for music in the Netherlands. At an early stage they recognized they were a good team when they were writing and producing rock and popsongs. Both of them gained experience working in different sort of bands.
