Chromeo

Chromeo is an electrofunk duo based in Montreal, Canada and New York City. They are P-Thugg, on keyboards, synthesizers and talk box, and Dave 1 (David Macklovitch) on guitar and lead vocals. The two were best friends since childhood and officially formed the band in 2002. They describe themselves as the only successful Arab/Jewish collaboration since the beginning of time. David Macklovitch is currently earning his Ph.D in French literature from Columbia University, where he also teaches undergraduate French classes.

George Michael (born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou on June 25, 1963 in East Finchley, London, England) is an English pop musician of Greek Cypriot ancestry. Michael began his career by forming a band called The Executive together with his best friend Andrew Ridgeley, a fellow pupil at Bushey Meads School, though it did not survive for long. It wasn't until he formed the duo Wham! together again with Ridgeley in 1981 that the success came for the band.

Vitalic (born as Pascal Arbez in 1976) is an electronic music artist. According to a joke made in an interview, Arbez is Ukrainian and emigrated from Ukraine to East Germany when the Berlin Wall fell, accompanied by his dog, "Mini Robot". Pascal was actually born in France and is of Italian descent. His first singles were released in 1996 and 1997, but were confined to the underground electronic music scene. However, he became good friends with Michel Amato, a.k.a. The Hacker, whom he met in the Rex, the "techno temple" of Laurent Garnier.

Invader is the name of several artists: 1. Invader, a / DJ & Producer from Derby, England. Real name Benjamin Handbury, he started his career in 2001 as a DJ and owner of the label Innervision. In the summer of 2005 Trancewarez was set up by Ben Handbury (Invader) and Jeremy Trimby (Vandall); Ben left Trancewarez by October 2006, he has since been persuing a solo career.

MSTRKRFT (pronounced Master Craft) is the pet project of Toronto musician Jesse F. Keeler (Death From Above 1979) and studio wizard Al-P (Girlsareshort). “It all comes down to feel,” states AL-P. “We’re interested in making people feel like they want to dance, at least a little bit, so it’s all about whatever it takes to get people there.” Formed in 2005, the pair has been collaborating, on and off, since 1998.
