Sykur
As the leaves started to grow back on the trees and the honey birds rose up from the dead, the band Sykur was formed by Stefán Finnbogason and Halldór Eldjárn. They had been making music together for three years, mainly jazz fusion and hip hop, and decided to do something new. Something fresh. After a busy summer of writing songs and playing at various venues, a third member, Kristján Eldjárn, joined the band.

1. SAFE is just Chris Edley, multi-media artist and apparent poultry enthusiast. Story goes that after living in New York, doing art for all the MGMT videos and even co-directing Saul Williams' "Convict Colony" clip, dude went broke and moved back to the East Bay, where he made the SAFE album in a basement with limited means. 2.Safe is a project produced and arranged by John Amatiello, Kristian Lundin, Max Martin, Alexander Cronlund, and Herbie Crichlow.

Rebecca Black
Rebecca Black (born June 21, 1997) is an American pop singer who gained worldwide attention with her 2011 single "Friday". Her mother paid $4000 to have the single and an accompanying music video put out as a vanity release through the record label ARK Music Factory. The song was co-written and produced by Clarence Jey and Patrice Wilson of ARK Music Factory. After the video went viral on YouTube and other social media sites, "Friday" was derided by many music critics and viewers, who dubbed it "the worst song ever.

Loveland's debut album, "The Wonder of Love", appeared in mid-1995.
