Xian
There are multiple artists with the name XIAN: 1.) Xian is an alias of Christian Bishop of Melbourne, Australia.
Xian's previous music projects included the renowned metal outfit 'Filthy Maggoty Cunt' as well as Art-Wank Black Metal Trio 'Morloch'.
As well as establishing himself as a highly recognized and respected producer and performer, Xian also operates the label/collective 'Black Lotus'. Formed in 2001, Black Lotus focuses on supporting experimental artists by hosting events and releasing music through various media.
Gnome
This name refers to more than one artist. 1. GNOME (Japan) is a quite notorious one man Black Metal endeavour of Masanori. A split cassette, 'Story - Legendary Japanese Wolves' shared with NYARLATHOTEP, was issued in 1999 on the Weird Truth Productions label. The music of Gnome has been described as dark nature metal with hysteric extremely high screams, fantasic and intense drivin' melodies/riffs and running bass.
Arcturus
Arcturus is an avant-garde metal band from Oslo, Norway featuring many prominent members of the Norwegian black metal scene from bands such as Ulver, Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Borknagar, The Kovenant, Emperor, and Winds. Arcturus have experimented throughout their career, extracting influences and incorporating elements from all over the musical spectrum including black metal and classical music, but the core of their sound has always been metal.

The music has the complexity of VISIBLE WIND, some ambiences reminiscent of PULSAR and DE DE LIND, some folkish accents à la JETHRO TULL plus a bit of PINK FLOYD. The vocalist sounds vaguely like Justin Hayward.
Disembowelment
1) diSEMBOWELMENT was an Australian death/doom metal band from Melbourne that was formed in 1989 after the two piece grind band Bacteria featuring drummer Paul Mazziotta and guitarist/vocalist Renato Gallina changed its name and musical style. With Dean Ruprich from Necrotomy providing bass, the band released its first demo, "Mourning September" in 1990. The band played very slowly (and occasionally with great speed), and relied equally on the atmospheric effects of droning guitars and constant riffing.
Twilight of the Gods
TWILIGHT OF THE GODS is an all-star Bathory tribute band, consisting of Alan Nemtheanga (Primordial), Blasphemer (Ava Inferi, Aura Noir, ex-Mayhem), Frode Glesnes (Einherjer), Nick Barker (Benediction, ex-Dimmu Borgir and more) and Patrik Lindgren (Thyrfing). The band is named after the legendary Swedish band's sixth album, Twilight of the Gods.
Alkerdeel
Alkerdeel spits out droney black doom metal with blown out practice space production, grinding guitars, blasting distorted drums, filthy super sick vocals, with bursts of sludge and stretches of loping minimal crunch, sort of mathy, all very very heavy, doomy and even psychedelic. Essential for fans of Darkthrone, Burning Witch, Wolves In The Throne Room, Beherit and why not, Mount Eerie … as well as other practitioners of grim buzz and noise.
Bethlehem
Bethlehem is a dark metal band from Grevenbroich, Germany, formed in 1991 by Jürgen Bartsch and Kläus Matton. Before begetting Bethlehem, Bartsch and Matton used to play in a German Thrash metal band called Morbid Vision. Much of the themes in their lyrics revolve around sickness, morbidity, suicide, death and madness that may to some extent be personal to the band, though they are very difficult to understand even for German speakers because they make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

There are several bands called Devastator. There is a thrash/death metal Devastator from Newfoundland, Canada; thrash metal band Devastator from Malaysia; death metal Devastator from Poland; two American bands - one a black/thrash band from Florida and the other a speed metal band from California; thrash metal band from Italy and lastly a German death metal Devastator, for which the following biography was written.
