Alejandro Paz

DJ and musician from Santiago de Chile currently based in Cologne, Germany. Paz is an essential figure from Santiago's music scene, having collaborated with Felipe "Warhol" Sancho from Fredi Michel (Cómeme 008 "Chilean Pop") on GENERICO's project , and also having performed with Chilean artist Javiera Mena. He has recently played at some of the most important clubs in Europe such as Fabric (London), Plastic People (London), Subclub (Glasgow) and will play at Razzmatazz (Barcelona) for Off Sonar 2012.

Arabian Prince

Arabian Prince is the stage name of Mik Lezan (born October 12, 1964 in Inglewood, California), a rapper and hip hop producer, best known for being an original member of the legendary rap group, N.W.A. Born and raised in Inglewood, California, Arabian Prince released a solo album Situation Hot in 1985. In the following year, Arabian Prince joined up with the first gangsta rap group N.W.A. three years after graduating Inglewood High School in Inglewood, CA. He wanted to be an artist in N.W.A.

Kankick

The Kankick sound is dusty, crunchy and blunted, and just the right tempo to get the proper head nod going. He started out in the science of hip-hop beat making in 1988, as a freshman in high school when he hooked up with Madlib who was a sophomore at the time. Kankick later joined the Lootpack and became the 4th member. He has now split from them though and formed the Funk Farm, which also included DJ Babu (Dilated Peoples/Beat Junkies).

Originally making hip-hop beats from his North Carolina Central University dorm room using software called Fruityloops and selling them on Soundclick, he has since become one of the more accredited producers in the hip hop music industry. As a part of the underground group, Little Brother, he gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim from underground hip hop world. When the upcoming producer released a remix album of Nas' 2002 album God's Son entitled God's Stepson, he began to get noticed by many mainstream hip hop artists.

Tall Black Guy was birthed from humble beginnings in Detroit, MI and homegrown on a diet of Motown, jazz and early hip-hop. The Alchemist and Oh No, respected and accomplished MCs and producers in their own right, weren’t acquainted until they met at a show headlined by Dilated Peoples member and mutual friend, Evidence. Inspired, Al contacted Oh No and proposed a collaborative project. From that point they “just clicked”, says Oh No. “I sent him a verse and a beat, and he sent a beat and a verse.” The creative sparring continued, and they began to refer to the work as Gangrene.
