Originally making hip-hop beats from his North Carolina Central University dorm room using software called Fruityloops and selling them on Soundclick, he has since become one of the more accredited producers in the hip hop music industry. As a part of the underground group, Little Brother, he gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim from underground hip hop world. When the upcoming producer released a remix album of Nas' 2002 album God's Son entitled God's Stepson, he began to get noticed by many mainstream hip hop artists.

Statik Selektah

Patrick Baril, born on January 23, 1982 in Lawrence, MA, is an American Hip-Hop DJ and Producer. He goes by the name of 'Statik Selektah' and is best known for his mixed CDs with rappers Nas, Boston rapper Termanology, Royce Da 5'9" and G-Unit Records, as well as his mixshows on FM and Satellite Radio. Statik's love of music led to him to be an aspiring DJ at a young age, playing with his parents' 8-tracks and cassette decks.

Kick Bong

A bit of history… At the age of 12 Franck meets music and discovers drums and percussions. In the 90’s, he joins his first pop/rock band “Romy et les Gateaux secs” as a drummer and they soon will sign on with Barclay recording company for three LPs. He quickly learns the tricks of the trade thanks to numerous live concerts and tours in France and Belgium. In 1995, he changes his way when discovering electro-music which will come to enrich his musical universe. Kick Bong then starts to compose in his own recently set up home-studio.

DJ Premier

Christopher E. Martin (born March 21, 1966), better known as DJ Premier (and Premo or Primo as his fans, fellow musicians and critics call him sometimes), is a prominent American hip hop producer and DJ, and the instrumental half of the duo Gang Starr, together with MC Guru. Contrary to popular belief, he did not found nor even co-found Gang Starr. He was introduced to DJing while attending school at Prairie View A&M in Houston, Texas.

Prince Paul

Prince Paul (born Paul Huston) is a legendary DJ and hip hop producer. Prince Paul is known for having a very unorthodox, but mostly well-received sense of humor. Musically, he was one of the driving forces of what was to become known as alternative rap, by using surprising samples and quirky humour. Originally a member of Stetsasonic, he produced De La Soul's 1989 debut album 3 Feet High and Rising (It was on this album that Prince Paul invented the hip hop skit which has a long-standing and pervasive tradition on Hip hop albums to this day).

Peanut Butter Wolf

As a young kid growing up in San Jose, Chris Manak soon realized he needed an escape from the realities of suburban life in the Silicon Valley. The age of nine was his coming of age. This was the year he discovered sports (Pittsburgh Pirates), video games (Pac man), girls (Anita Balderama), and hip hop ("Rappers Delight"). Alongside partner Sweet Steve, young Chris fashioned primitive mix-tapes (using the pause button) and ran amok at the local roller rink.
