As Cities Burn

As Cities Burn was a (earlier material), (midway) and (later) band from Mandeville, LA that formed in 2002. As an unsigned act, the group accomplished impressive success touring and selling thousands of copies of their two EPs. Their success drew the attention of Solid State Records, who signed them in 2004. ACB released its first full length album, Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest, on June 21 of 2005, and was featured in Solid State's Young Bloods Tour with The Chariot, Showbread, and He Is Legend.

Transient

Transient names at least six musical entities. 1) Transient are a band from Greenville, SC, United States. Forming in the fall of 2010, they started to gain recognition with their debut EP Alone, promoting their own brand of passionate modern hardcore, with strong and ambient melodic guitar riffs. They have released 2 EP's to date, Alone, a 5 song EP in May 2011, and their latest release We Do Not Lose Heart, a 3 song EP in March 2012. Both of these EP's can be downloaded from the bands Bandcamp page, with a donation scheme implemented for both.

Colors

There are at least five bands who have recorded under the name Colors.
1) Now defunct Denver, Colorado based group that formed in June of 2008. In August of 2010, they recorded nine of the songs that they had written in the two years prior, eight of which were released as 'Palindromes'. After a lineup change that October, they briefly adopted a new moniker and began working on new material before permanently disbanding in March of 2011. On 3 April 2011 they performed for the last time, with their original lineup and name intact.

Regents

Regents is a DC-style hardcore band, who debuted with a self-titled EP on Lovitt Records in 2011. Members previously played in such influential bands as Maximillian Colby, Sleepytime Trio, Frodus, Men’s Recovery Project, Battery, and Combat Wounded Veteran. Not to be confused with:
A) "Regents," a British act from 1979 who had a brief UK chart career with two singles, '7Teen' and 'See You Later.' B) "The Regents," a US-based rock band from the 1960's

I Am Ghost

I Am Ghost is a gothic post-hardcore band from Long Beach, California, formed in late 2004. They are signed to Epitaph Records. I Am Ghost self-recorded a demo a few months after forming in 2004, for the sole purpose of booking shows locally. Previous to being signed the band gave away copies of their 6 track demo free of charge. Even before the band had played a single show, I Am Ghost had given away thousands of copies of their demo We Are Always Searching. Later, when I Am Ghost signed to Epitaph Records, they added 3 new tracks, artwork and, on October 25, 2005, re-released it as an EP.

‘This Side Up’ ……. the Hip-Hop night that has been rocking various venues all over the badlands of Sligo. The night has gathered a devoted following since it began in 2008 and prides itself on providing the crowd with upfront music in a funky and friendly atmosphere. To kick things off Djs Noone and PC man the turntables dropping everything from OldSkool Hip-Hop and Funk to Reggae and Jazz. As the night gathers pace Shaool and Myster-E grab the microphone and raise the roof with intelligent hard hitting rhymes while original beats are dropped by Noone.

Sleeping With Sirens

Sleeping with Sirens is an American post-hardcore band from Orlando, Florida currently residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2009 by members of For All We Know, Broadway and We Are Defiance. The band is currently signed to Rise Records and has released one full-length album, With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear. The album debuted at number 7 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart, and at number 36 on Top Independent Albums. They announced on December 7, 2010 that their new album is planned to be released in mid-2011. The band often includes Christian themes in their music.

Jazz

There are two bands with the name Jazz.

1. JAZZ is a band from Spokane, WA consisting of four losers trying to do something important with their lives.

2. The former Belgian band called "The Names" lived a second incarnation as "Jazz" in the second part of the nineties. Their style remains similar although adapted to the new decade. The Names was maybe the most artistic band from the Disques del Crepuscule (the Belgian sideproject of Factory Records).
