Dare

British AOR band fronted by Darren Wharton, formerly of Thin Lizzy. Their debut album in 1988 "Out of the silence" is considered a true classic from every AOR fan around the world. In 1991 they released "Blood from stone" a much heavier hard rock album which is also classic for its genre although it didn't have a great success. After seven years of silence Dare changed their line up , Darren Wharton decided to start producing Dare's albums in his own studio from this point on.

Dark Sky

DARK SKY have been founded as a school band in the very early 80's in
the South German city of Rottweil. Financial problems of their record
company at the time made a release of their completely finished debut
album during the late 80's impossible and the band more or less caught
it a day.

The Tubes

There is more than one group called the Tubes. 1) The Tubes are a San Francisco-based theater rock band, popular in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, known for their live performances that combined music performances with many different unique costumes and in some acts they wore leotards with painted on nipples and pubic hair (neither of which points are relevant for evaluating their artistic/musical/political relevance). They made satires of life in the USA; the media, consumerism, and politics. They were often banned in the Midwest USA.

"We're from a small town in South Carolina called Possum Kingdom," NEEDTOBREATHE frontman Bear Rinehart explains when asked about the place he and his younger brother/co-writer Bo were raised. "Trust me - there was absolutely no music scene there." And, though he makes light of it, the relative isolation that came with growing up in such an environment must have played some part in fostering the independent-minded approach the Rinehart boys would later bring to their band.

TNT

There are at least 10 artists called TNT. 1) TNT is a heavy metal band formed in Trondheim, Norway in 1982, by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dag Ingebrigtsen , guitarist Ronni Lé Tekrø , bassist Steinar Eikum and drummer Morten "Diesel" Dahl . They released their self-titled debut album the same year — their only album that features Norwegian lyrics — and got a hit with the single "Harley Davidson".

Von Groove

Von Groove - Canadian hard rock band came of the late 80's / early 90's hard rock scene. Von Groove came out of the gate with an extremely strong first album of melodic hard rock similar to releases by Damn Yankees, Bad English, Tyketto, Bon Jovi, and Giant. Von Groove's music is melodic, yet without a doubt a hard rock band. The albums is packed with great rock songs and better than average ballads. The musicianship, songwriting, vocals, and production were all top notch.

Pride & Glory

Pride & Glory was a side project for former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde. This was Zakk's first self-fronted project, after which he released the largely acoustic solo-album Book of Shadows in 1996. After that he formed Black Label Society in 1998, which remains his current band. Coming together in 1991, during the No More Tours supposed-retirement tour for Ozzy's No More Tears, the band was originally named Lynyrd Skynhead and included the former White Lion rhythm section of bassist James LoMenzo and drummer Greg D'Angelo alongside Wylde.

Richie Sambora

Richie Sambora, (born Richard Stephen Sambora on July 11, 1959 in Woodbridge, New Jersey) is best known as the lead guitarist for Bon Jovi, handles harmony and background vocals, and joins front man Jon Bon Jovi in writing most of the band's songs over the course of their twenty-five year run. He has also released two solo albums, Stranger In This Town in 1991, and Undiscovered Soul in 1998. Sambora attended Woodbridge High School. His main influences were Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Joe Kmiecik.

A trio from Cleveland was the secret among all A&R managers of the US major labels - both MCA and Atlantic agreed to release this album, until grunge upset the market. This album combines the best aspects of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Giant into a sound all their own. Listening to "A Little Bit of Fire" will remind you that there was life before grunge...
