The Folksmen
The Folksmen were a fictional folk trio from the film A Mighty Wind (2003). They were a parody of popular folk combos of the early 1960s such as The Kingston Trio and The Brothers Four. The Folksmen were played by Michael McKean, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer, better known as another fictional group: Spinal Tap.

The Pinecone Kids were born this year and with downs syndrome. As a result they go around asking people if they would like to buy pinecones. Straight outta east London gutters they play gritty grungey noisy madness, but also soft soothing sonnets of ambience. Beatallica The project was founded in 2001 by original guitarist "Krk Hammetson" and singer "Jaymz Lennfield". The EP A Garage Dayz Nite was recorded for the annual Spoof Fest concert held in Milwaukee, as a memento of that year's concert. A few dozen copies of the EP were handed out to friends. Later that year, one of those CDs made its way to Milwaukee resident David Dixon, who created a web page that included mp3s of the songs and named the band "Beatallica".

Ken Nordine
Ken Nordine ( January 1920) is an American voiceover and recording artist. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Ken Nordine is the son of an architect. He attended Lane Technical College Prep High School (Chicago) and the University of Chicago. He has three sons with his wife Beryl whom he married in 1946. Nordine's deep, resonant voice has been featured on many commercial advertisements. One critic wrote that "you may not know Ken Nordine by name or face, but you'll almost certainly recognize his voice."
