The band features Scott "Gub" Conway on vocals/guitar (Even in Blackouts, Red Villain, Screeching Weasel), Kevin J. Frank on guitar/vocals (Haymarket Riot, Traluma, the Sky Corvair), Neil Sandler on bass/vocals (Rollo Tomasi, Traluma, the Sky Corvair) and Ryan Rapsys on drums (Euphone, Amazing Baby, Owls).

The vehicle for the pop genius of Joe McAlinden. Joe was previously a member of The Groovy Little Numbers, and recorded for 53rd and 3rd Records of Edinburgh. He has been in Bellshill scene bands with members of Teenage Fanclub, Soup Dragons and The BMX Bandits. They released a mini-album in 1992 on Creation Records called greatest Hits Vol. One. This featured Neil Grant, Raymond Prior and Mark Hughes.

INSTILL are from Surrey/Hampshire/Hastings, rehearsing at Aldershot Military Base. Current line-up since Feb 2005. It all started in December 2003 with when a previous line-up of the band parted ways and a new INSTILL begun. After much deliberation over the style the first song written was C3 = Fudge (goto main website). A song about and angry man in his quest to retrieve fudge from a vending machine.

They released an album in feb-08 called Between and Beyond.
