The Early Years

The Early Years is a London-based trio founded in 2004 whose declared vision is to create washes of psychedelic guitar noises meshed in with feedback, drones, distortion and wah set against a strong metronomic beat. The Early Years admire the noises of (and have occasionally had their sound likened to) Mogwai, Acid Mother's Temple, Spiritiualized, Sonic Boom, neu, Can, Tortoise, 33.3, Isotope 217, Jeff Parker, Stars of the Lid, The Teardrop Explodes and general 60's garage music and psychedelia.

July Skies

July Skies is an ambient / post-rock band from The Black Country, West Midlands, UK. The project started off as a one-man band in 1997, when Antony Harding bought his first guitar. In 2003 he was joined by Epic45's musicians Ben Holton and Rob Glover, who contributed to Harding's second, third and fourth albums as well as July Skies' live shows. Harding also contributed to the 2008 Avrocar album 'Against the Dying of the Light' on Make Mine Music .

Working For A Nuclear Free City

Working for a nuclear free city came together in January 2004. Initially the studio project of the founding members Phil Kay (producer/keyboards) and Gary Mclure (guitars) since 1999, 2004 saw the band first take to the stage, now joined by drummer Jon Kay, bassist Ed Hulme and more recently Neil Harris (guitar). After a number of years confined solely to the studio, they began the process of turning the layered studio tracks into a more stream-lined live set and initial performances were extremely well received.

Solar Bears

Hailing from Dublin and Wicklow, Solar Bears formed in early 2009. The band consists of John Kowalski and Rian Trench who met at sound engineering college. Sharing a love of world cinema, their music combines a number of different influences ranging from electronica to film composers like Ennio Morricone and George Delerue. Their sound is a mix of programming, acoustic instruments, synths and vintage tape machines.

Butterfly Explosion

www.myspace.com/butterflyexplosion (The) Butterfly Explosion came together in 2005 with the release of the demo EP 'Vision'. Within a year the EP earned them showcases at the SXSW festival in Austin. The 2nd EP 'Turn The Sky' was released in October 2006. Two of the tracks, 'Sophia' and 'Next Year', featured in the Top 100 Songs of 2006 on Dublin's Phantom FM. Another track 'Carpark' featured in the monthly Top 10 playlist of UK's MOJO magazine.

www.incagoldmusic.com Inca Gold are a London based 4-piece. Self-recorded, mixed and produced - their sound is defined by experimentation in the studio. Like Flying Saucer Attack and Deerhunter before them, they offer a bold and unique take on dream-like psychedelia. Merging the tribal grooves of Gang Gang Dance, the guitar noise of The Jesus and Mary Chain and the clinical electronics of Portishead, all filtered through the bands strong pop aesthetic.

Sugar Army

'Summertime Heavy' is the second record from Sugar Army - out now through Permanent Records. Over the past few years, the band have released a critically acclaimed debut album & EP, with singles & videos from both releases dominating media all over Australia and finding support across international waters from UK print to US college radio. In that time they've supported Interpol & Smashing Pumpkins, opened the main stage of the Big Day Out, performed at many of the other major Australian summer festivals & toured relentlessly prior to the commencement of solid writing for the new album.
