Edwin Prévost (born June 22, 1942 in Hitchin) is an English drummer and percussionist. An important figure in the history of free improvisation, Prévost began as a jazz drummer before branching out into entirely improvised music. He was a co-founder of the group AMM, and remains its only constant member. Prévost has worked with several prominent jazz musicians, including saxophonist Lou Gare.
IAN PAICE! Ian Anderson Paice (born June 29, 1948; Nottingham, England) made his name as drummer with seminal heavy rock band Deep Purple. As of Jon Lord's departure in 2002, he is the only founding member of the band still performing with the group. Heavily influenced by Buddy Rich, Ian is one of the few hard rock drummers who uses swing and jazz inflections in his powerhouse style. He is also left-handed, being one of the few who play on a totally left-handed drum setup (another example is Phil Collins).
There are four bands with that name: 1) Roger Taylor's band
2) The Korean band

From the drummer of Foo Fighters comes Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders. A small side-project turned into a fully fledged album, the front man and drummer, Taylor Hawkins, describes it as "an accident." Other members include Chris Chaney on bass (Jane's Addiction, and also played with Taylor with Alanis Morissette) and an enigmatic "Gannin" on guitar.
Pat Mastelotto (born Lee Patrick Mastelotto, 10 September 1955, Chico, California) is a rock drummer who has worked with Mr. Mister, King Crimson and XTC, among others. For King Crimson he initially formed part of the "double trio", joining Bill Bruford on drums. Mastelotto started playing the drums at the age of 10. When he was 16, he was playing in the most popular local bands and, while still in High School, commuted several hours to Lake Tahoe for gigs.
