Keith Cozart was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Dulles Elementary School and later Banner High School on the city's South Side. He released his debut mixtape The Glory Road on July 9, 2011 and his second mixtape Bang on October 11. In December 2011, Cozart was arrested on a weapons charge (aggravated unlawful use of a weapon) and put under house arrest at his grandmother's home. While under house arrest, Cozart posted several videos to his YouTube account.

Chance The Rapper is an 20 year old MC from Chicago. Chance first made some noise on the Chicago hip-hop blog Fake Shore Drive with his video for Nostalgia in early 2011. Since then Chance has building a steady buzz around Chicago with songs such as Brain Cells, Long Time & Fuck You Tahm Bout. Weasel Walter

Weasel Walter is an experimental drummer and composer. He is most famous as the leader of The Flying Luttenbachers, but also leads other projects such as the Weasel Walter Sextet. He began playing in Chicago in the early 90s, and has subsequently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003, where he has lived ever since. Weasel Walter can most frequently be seen playing drums, although he plays bass, started out on guitar, and has taken saxophone lessons from Hal Russel.

The Other Guys

There are at least four groups known as The Other Guys. 1.) The Other Guys is an alternative hip-hop duo consisting of Mighty Joe & Isaiah Insanate Mensah, from the DC area. 2.) The Other Guys is an all-male a cappella group from the University of Illinois, and was founded in the 1968-69 school year. 3.) The Other Guys also refers to an all-male a capella band from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. They have an album called 'Well Sung' and have found recent hit success with their youtube video 'Royal Romance'

Enuff Z'Nuff is a power pop/hard rock band which was formed in 1984 in Blue Island, Illinois, United States by Chip Z'Nuff (bass) and Donnie Vie (vocals). The band has released twelve studio albums as of 2011 and is best known for their singles "Fly High Michelle", "New Thing" and "Mother's Eyes". Despite becoming popular during the glam metal movement of the 1980's, the band has little in common with such artists and has continued to record and tour since their formation.

Jack DeJohnette

Jack DeJohnette (b. 1942) is an American jazz drummer and pianist. DeJohnette was born in Chicago, Illinois. Besides the drums, he studied the piano, which he plays on several recordings. He first became known as a member of Charles Lloyd's band, a band that Keith Jarrett also was a part of at that time. From 1969 to 1972 he played with Miles Davis and recorded many albums for ECM as both leader and sideman.

Naked Raygun was a very influential Chicago-based punk band of the 1980s and early 1990s. All incarnations featured Jeff Pezzati on vocals. Members over time include Jim Colao and Eric Spicer on drums, Pierre Kezdy and Camilio Gonzalez on bass, and Santiago Durango. John Haggerty, and Bill Stephans on guitar. Naked Raygun began as a noisy, free-form artist, often trading members with Big Black but later sharpened into a hard pop outfit in a league with the Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, and The Jam.

Wasalu Muhammad Jaco (born February 16, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois), better known by his stage name Lupe Fiasco, is a Grammy Award-winning American hip-hop artist and producer. He first became known to the mainstream hip-hop community in 2005 when he appeared on Kanye West's album Late Registration on the track "Touch the Sky." In 2006 Lupe released his debut album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor on Atlantic Records, and in December 2007 he released his second full length album, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool.
