Erstlaub
Erstlaub is the creation of Dave Fyans of Perth, Scotland. Dealing in brooding drones and dense atmospheric soundscapes. He draws his inspiration from both man-made and natural sounds from real life and deconstructs and rebuilds them in his own stark vision by means of modular synthesis. http://www.erstlaub.co.uk/
quickbeam band
Quickbeam are named after a type of tree (the Rowan family, green-geeks), a tree that apparently has positive influence over the negative and is sacred to those who worship it (in mythological language anyway). It seems a fitting moniker for this duo, Monika and Drew, from Glasgow and Aberdeen. They have performed at Glasgow

There are three artists named Ruby.
1) Ruby (the UK band)
2) Ruby (harsh breakcore artist)See:Ruben De Haan
3) Ruby (Egyptian singer)See:Roubi 1) Ruby was the project of UK vocalist Lesley Rankine and US composer/producer Mark Walk. Their repertory of styles expanded across electronic, trip hop, noise, and industrial. The band Ruby was named as such because Rankine and Walk both have a grandmother named Ruby.
Peatbog Faeries
Hailing from the Isle of Skye, the Peatbog Faeries are one of the leading bands in the new interpretation of traditional Scottish music.
Crossing so many genres that they become extremely hard to define. A good effort (one of their own I think), is psychedelic bagpipe funk.
Not to be confused with 'tartan techno'!
