Remember Remember

Glasgow act Remember Remember, essentially the solo project of former Multiplies and Royal We member Graeme Ronald, will release a self-titled debut album in November through the Rock Action label. Compared to Brian Eno, Philip Glass, Animal Collective and even Michel Gondry, Ronald has received acclaim for his unique live shows where everything from hand-claps to Irn Bru are sampled, looped and blended into the performance.

The Rootsman

The Rootsman is a musician and DJ based in Bradford, England. His musical career began when he was living in Edinburgh, Scotland and taught himself to play guitar in 1978 at the age of 13 and formed his first punk band. With his group "State Oppression" he made his debut gig in 1981, supporting the Angelic Upstarts. After 3 concerts, he decided that being a guitarist in a band was not for him and he retired from that aspect of the music business.

Bay City Rollers

The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop/rock band of the 1970s. Their youthful, clean-cut image, distinct styling featuring tartan-trimmed outfits, and cheery, sing-along pop hits helped the group become among the most popular musical acts of their time. For a relatively brief but fervent period (nicknamed "Rollermania"), they were a worldwide sensation. Bassist Alan Longmuir, his younger brother Derek Longmuir, a drummer, along with school mate, lead singer Gordon "Nobby" Clark founded the group in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1967, as The Saxons.

Chutes

Chutes are a new band formed in Edinburgh. We believe in music as our release, our anger, and our hopes, vented and shared. We play music together because it’s what we love doing, it’s as simple as that. Five of us playing music from our hearts, that we love and we hope you enjoy it and become part of it. Our songs are about loss and hope, pain and eventual joy, songs about rejuvenation and spirit. Our songs are about us.
