Cassette Club

Ben Macklin and Tom Hammond use their obsessive knowledge of all things electronic and soulful to create irresistibly good-looking pop music. With influences ranging from ABC to Daft Punk, Go West to Justice, Depeche Mode to MGMT, their debut album is a colourful afternoon in the sun - Cassette Club style.

Assembled in 1999, 3 Taiwan students: Hui-Ting Chen (陳惠婷), Kai-Tong Zheng (鄭凱同), and Zhe-Yu Xu (許哲毓) shouted out their name 'Tizzy Bac'. Their multicolor band integrates jazz, alternative rock and electronic elements, creating a unique atmosphere that indistinctly reminds of New Order, Frente and Loop. However, bearing the belief 'every song has its own personality' in mind, Tizzy Bac never confines themselves with a monotonic definition.
