Toys With Knives is the collective of music produced by Lewis Flude and Marcus Sullivan. They have had previous success with both low-bit electronic and live experimental music. Lewis makes dubstep, acid, house, electro mashups using synthersizers and drum machines. Marcus Sullivan who adds in his chaotic distorted vocals is the other half of the band. They are a collective colliding their two seperate minds.
Constantin is a singer-songwriter, music producer and record mixer. Along with music producer Jaz ‘Ill Child’ Seehra they produce and perform electro pop music. Constantin also produced, mixed and engineered for many major artists such as Paul McCartney, The Magic Numbers, Ally McErlaine (Texas), Lethal B and many more. The Duo has set up a computer based studio with vintage but also new synthesizers in North Wembley in London where they produce Constantin’s new album.
There are two artists sharing this name. 1. UK Italo Disco producer who founded Cyber Dance (label) in 2004 and www.magicwaves.co.uk (internet radio) in 2006, along with Ali Renault and Spruxxx. Also signed to Dissident (label), and DJs for Human Shield (label). Part of the same circle of Italo producers in the UK that has yielded Heartbreak (Lex Records), Tommy Walker 3 (Dissident/Human Shield), Ali Renault (Dissident/Cyber Dance/Human Shield), Muravchix (Dissident) and New Europeans. SWIM are Joe Boyle and Richard Williams. Since a chance meeting in their adolescent years, the duo have been making music together. Surrounded by records of over 60 years of popular music, and trying to make the grey London skies feel like warmer climes an ocean away, the band are influenced by the synths and styles of their 80s heroes, from the likes of Talking Heads and New Order to the lush shoegaze discord of My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins. Crafting escapist, sun-kissed pop, SWIM garner their own, original sound, complemented by an endearing, soaring vocal.
The Blow is Khaela Maricich, from Portland, Oregon. The band was a duo until Jona Bechtolt left to pursue his own project, Yacht, full time. The two had been working together as The Blow since 2004, when they recorded a limited edition EP called Poor Aim: Love Songs.
"Blow" is also the name of a Melbourne-based jazz group which Last.fm automatically scrobbles as "The Blow".
