Nick Heyward

Nick Heyward had a modestly successful solo career after leaving Haircut 100, beginning with the 1983 album North Of A Miracle (#10 UK). This album produced three UK top 20 hits: Heyward's first solo hit, Whistle Down The Wind (#13), Take That Situation (#11), and Blue Hat For A Blue Day (#14). Heyward's second album Postcards From Home (1986) spawned two further top UK 40 hits - Love All Day (#31) and Warning Sign (#25).

Bachelor Pad

A lo-fi band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2010. Inspired by spicy chicken burgers and Warrick Capper's flowing mullet, their sound has been described as "artfully f*cked up." Hyperbole.tv had this to say about their music: "while the bass throbs and the guitar rumbles with giddy fuzz you can’t help but nod your head like a grinning idiot." Sad Lovers and Giants

Sad Lovers & Giants are a rock band from Watford, England who formed in 1981. Their sound blends post-punk, folk and psychedelia and has seen them described as 'a pastoral Pink Floyd'. The band's members have included Garçe (vocals), Tristan Garel-Funk (who went on to form The Snake Corps) (guitar), Tony McGuinness (now part of the trance trio Above & Beyond) (Guitar), Cliff Silver (bass), Ian Gibson (bass), David Wood (keyboards and saxophone), Juliet Sainsbury (keyboards) and Nigel Pollard (drums & percussion) Will Hicks (keyboards).

There are four acts using the name Dave: 1) A Dutch pop singer who sings mostly French songs since the 60s. He became very famous in France and now lives there. 2) Dave, a Massachusetts songwriting duo consisting of Sen Morimoto and Isaac Pearl. 3) Dave, best known for the hit release "Fart Techno" on Harth Records.

Bruce Cockburn

Bruce Cockburn, (pronounced "CO-burn"), has had a long and distinguished career with much success in his native Canada. His first albums were fairly straight ahead folk music spotlighting his brilliant guitar playing. In fact, there were a good number of instrumental guitar numbers on those early recordings. A Christian element came into his music around the time of the album Salt, Sun And Time, and over time his writing has taken on a stronger and stronger political orientation.

Glass Robots

Alluring vocal melodies, huge lush synthesizers and dark disco basslines, wash over industrial percussion. With influences ranging from Bowie to The Smiths, Sigur Ros to Kraftwerk, Glass Robots create a kind of new romantic, dance pop melee from the future. Songs about emotional breakdown, technological paranoia, sex, cinema and obsession, confirm the duos prophetic interpretation of today's deranged society. Their shows are a cavalcade of live electronica, guitars and percussion.

Colors

There are at least five bands who have recorded under the name Colors.
1) Now defunct Denver, Colorado based group that formed in June of 2008. In August of 2010, they recorded nine of the songs that they had written in the two years prior, eight of which were released as 'Palindromes'. After a lineup change that October, they briefly adopted a new moniker and began working on new material before permanently disbanding in March of 2011. On 3 April 2011 they performed for the last time, with their original lineup and name intact.
