Guy Barker

Guy Barker (born 26 December 1957) is an English jazz trumpeter and composer. Barker was born in Chiswick, London, the son of an actress and a stuntman. He started playing the trumpet at the age of twelve, and within a year had joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. After lessons from Clark Terry in 1975, Barker went on in the 1980s to play with John Dankworth, Gil Evans (with whose orchestra he toured and recorded in 1983), Lena Horne and Bobby Watson.

Lee Morgan

Lee Morgan (10 July 1938 - 19 February 1972) was an American hard-bop jazz trumpeter. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Morgan was a jazz prodigy, joining the Dizzy Gillespie big band at 18, remaining a member for two years. In 1956 he began recording as a leader, mainly for the Blue Note label; eventually he recorded twenty-five albums for the company. Morgan's principal influence as a player was Clifford Brown, having had direct contact with him before Brown's premature death.

Przemysław Strączek (1976) - jazz guitarist, composer, arranger, producer, educator. Completed studies in music education at the Silesian University in Cieszyn, as well as receiving a degree from the Jazz Institute at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He is also a laureate of the Marek Bliziński Master Guitarists' Competition in Warsaw, which he won in 2001 and 2003, and the All-Poland Competition for Guitar Improvisation in Kielce, in 2005. From 1998 to 2006 he led his first group, Tres Jazz, with which he recorded the album “The Shape of Melody” in 2004.

Natalie Cole

Born February 6, 1950, Natalie Cole is the daughter of celebrated crooner Nat King Cole, she was exposed to the greats of , and at an early age and began performing at the age of 11. Her debut album in 1975, Inseparable, won her immediate praise, with the smash single This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) (#1 R&B, #6 Pop) winning her a Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female, a category that had been monopolized by Aretha Franklin. She also was named the Grammys' Best New Artist of 1975. She attended the Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, MA.
