Mnozil Brass

Mnozil Brass is an Austrian brass ensemble septet, founded 1992.
All ( founding ) members have been graduates of the renowned Vienna College of Music, who met while playing at the Mnozil pub in Vienna's 1st inner city district. Music is presented in a typical Austrian humor style, which can be ( approximately ) characterized as jet black and here and there absurd. Elements of slapstick existent next to virtuosic brass playing. Notably Austrian and German Schlager songs of the 20. century are often caricatured, former member Sebastian Fuchsberger was a great talent in imitating e.

Ibrahim Maalouf

Ibrahim Maalouf (Arabic: ابراهيم معلوف) is a trumpeter who is also a composer and arranger for trumpet. He also teaches trumpet. He was born on December 5, 1980 in Beirut, Lebanon, but now lives in France.
Ibrahim Maalouf is the son of trumpeter Nassim Maalouf and pianist Nada Maalouf, a nephew of the writer Amin Maalouf, and the grandson of journalist, poet and musicologist Rushdi Maalouf. He is currently the only trumpet player in the world to play Arabic music with the trumpet in fourth tones, which his father invented in the 1960s.

Eddie Henderson

Eddie Henderson (b. October 26, 1940) is a jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player. Henderson's mother was one of the dancers in the original Cotton Club. She had a twin sister, and they were called The Brown Twins. They would dance with Bill "Bojangles" Robinson and the Nicholas Brothers. In the film showing Fats Waller playing 'Ain't Misbehavin', Henderson's mother sits on the piano whilst Fats sings to her. His father sang with Billy Williams and The Charioteers a very popular singing group.

Randy Brecker

Randy Brecker (b. Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, November 27, 1945) is an American trumpeter and flugelhornist. He is a highly sought after performer in the genres of jazz, rock and fusion and has performed or recorded with Bruce Springsteen, Charles Mingus, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Horace Silver, Frank Zappa, Parliament, and many others. Randy Brecker is the older brother of the jazz saxophonist Michael Brecker (1949-2007).

Darth Vegas

Australian avant-garde or experimental band whose music evokes 50s B-grade horror film and deranged circus mayhem, somewhat in the same vein of Mr. Bungle. Darth Vegas is lead by Michael Lira, formally from Vicious Hairy Mary.. Thus far the band has only released one official studio album but still tour locally with a 7-piece-band. Many of the members are currently working on The Tango Saloon on Mike Patton's label. Darth Vegas released "Brainwashing For Dirty Minds" in 2012.

Band From County Hell

The Band from County Hell are an 8 piece Celtic rock band from Sleaford, Lincolnshire, UK. They were formed in 1995 by Glasgow born Steven McLelland. The current line up includes Steve McLelland - Guitar & Vocals, Julie McLelland - Vocals & Bodhran, Ben McLelland - Fiddle, Accordian & Whistle, Johnny Dowd - Drums, Kenneth - Whistle and George Morton - Trumpet & Accordian.

Corleone

There are at least two artists named "Corleone": 1) Combining post-rock ideals with unique vocals and dark, brooding lyrics, Corleone are a four-piece band from Sheffield, UK.
The band self-released two EPs; Crude Black Millions, recorded in May 2005 and TV! Sing Me To Sleep, recorded in March 2006. A second run of TV! Sing Me To Sleep has since been released through Corps Morts.
Though some characteristic post-rock sounds are present in many of their songs, this does not define the music, which is enhanced with unique vocals.
