High Wolf uses loops, percussive sounds, fuzzy keyboards and obscure sunken melodies to create a ritual space that combines aspects of exotica, ethno-flux, drone and minimalism while skirting the kinda haunted forests of tone previously the domain of Spencer Clark and James Ferraro.
CONICS are an explosive young five-piece post-punk band from Sydney, Australia that formed in mid-2010. Their music is rhythmically driven, incorporating bright, high-pitched guitars, soaring synth lines and harmonious vocal melodies. Cow Parade Cow began as the solo recording project of 22 year old Mike Litton, born from the thriving Perth music scene in Western Australia. His first release was the full album-length "To the North" (2010) which was initially only intended as a collection of CD-Rs to be shared among friends. However, after a series of international blogs stumbled across the bandcamp website, a larger audience was found.
Chuck Loeb is a skillful guitarist capable of numerous styles of music, most notably jazz. Loeb's own solo projects have generally been commercially successful crossover jazz, which has "contemporary" or "smooth" jazz. He started playing guitar when he was 11, discovered jazz when he was 16, took lessons from Jim Hall, Pat Metheny and Joe Puma, and attended the Berklee College of Music. Loeb freelanced in New York (with Hubert Laws, Chico Hamilton, Joe Farrell among others) and then in 1979 joined Stan Getz's group for two years.
