The Society Islands

The Society Islands is the musical project of Cologne, Germany-based composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Boris Rogowski. The Society Islands were founded in 2006, shortly before the release of their debut album "Kiss & Tell" (until then Rogowski had already recorded a dozen of albums and EPs under the moniker M.D. which may or may not be released at a later point in time). The music of The Society Islands oscillates between Neo-Folk, chamber music and Indie Rock and is further characterized by stylistic shifts and ominous undertones.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse

Canadian singer and songwriter Neil Young includes his personal garage band Crazy Horse ("second best backing band in the world") to make raw and unpolished rock. Their gritty style of rock has influenced countless artists and music styles. Crazy Horse is best known for its long association with Young, despite having released five albums of its own over a 19-year span. It has been co-credited with Young as Neil Young and Crazy Horse on 13 albums, "Live at the Fillmore East" from the 1970 tour (2006) being the last.

Aesop Rock

Aesop Rock (born Ian Bavitz on June 5, 1976) is an alternative hip hop artist/producer from Northport, New York, United States. He has released six albums: "Music for Earthworms" (1997), "Float" (1999), "Labor Days" (2001), "Bazooka Tooth" (2003), "None Shall Pass" (2007 ) and "Skelethon" (2012). Chatham County Line

Chatham County Line are an American bluegrass musical group. Formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1999 from the ashes of the defunct Stillhouse, the band have released four albums, one on the Bonfire label and three on the Yep Roc label (who they were linked with by the producer Chris Stamey), and have become popular in Europe as well as their native USA. Their most recent tour took in numerous European destinations, including the Lowlands rock festival in the Netherlands.

Dale Watson

Dale Watson (b. 1962) is a country singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Austin, Texas. The singer is also featured in the Zalman King documentary Crazy Again, chronicling his mental breakdown after his girlfriend Terri Herbert died in a fatal car accident in September 2000. He is expected to star in King's next film, Austin Angel, due out in 2007.

The Hackensaw Boys

The Hackensaw Boys first began playing their joyful blend of old-time and bluegrass-tinged string-band music on the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia in the autumn of 1999.
