North Mississippi Allstars

North Mississippi Allstars is an American rock/blues jam band from Hernando, Mississippi, founded in 1996. The band is composed of brothers Luther Dickinson (guitar, vocals) and Cody Dickinson (drums, keyboards, electric washboard), and Chris Chew (electric bass guitar). Duwayne Burnside, who formerly played second guitar in the band, is a son of R.l. Burnside (who has also played on some of the band's tracks).

David Dondero

David Dondero is a singer/songwriter whose music has been compared to such American folk music/troubadour greats as Woody Guthrie and Townes Van Zandt. He began in 1993 as a member of the band Sunbrain, and later played in This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb and The Flatwheelers. He is currently on the Team Love Records label and has toured with such acts as Bright Eyes, Tilly and The Wall, Spoon, and Willy Mason.

Singer/Songwriter Sarah Hughes is a local favorite, playing the bars and venues in the college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The powerful Southern voice anchoring her folk-rock style has drawn comparisons to Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, & Lucinda Wiliams. She draws from such diverse influences as Gillian Welch, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, & Widespread Panic, resulting in a sound that houses traditional country storytelling in steady rhythms & strumming with some southern jam-rock on the side.

Jim White

Jim White is a southern gothic alt-country singer-songwriter. He has released four albums as a solo artist. While his music is based in americana, he borrows elements from rock, rhythm and blues, and even electronica, often piecing sounds together in the lo-fi cut-and-paste fashion of artists like Tom Waits. His albums have featured a wide variety of collaborators, such as Victoria Williams, Morcheeba, Aimee Mann, Barenaked Ladies, and Joe Henry.

Sarah Borges

The New York Times called Sarah Borges "A modern-minded honky-tonker with a retro streak". John Conquest of Texas' 3rd Coast Music News says simply, "Sarah Borges is fabulous, and will be my...headliner anytime she wants". The Boston artist released "The Stars Are Out" in 2009 and was nominated for an award from the Americana Music Association.

Lambchop

Although based in Nashville, Tennessee, the capital of country music, Lambchop cannot easily be classified into a genre and certainly not into that of traditional country music. The collective around frontman Kurt Wagner has a fluid membership, at times including as many 18 musicians, and is frequently associated with alternative country. Lambchop’s music combines wryly ironic lyrics that are complex in form and content with harmonious tunes and soulful background vocals.

Sam Baker

Sam Baker is a country singer-songwriter out of Austin, Texas. Here’s a man who can’t really sing, but mostly just speaks. Who’s deaf on one side, partially deaf on the other. And who can’t use all his fingers while playing guitar anymore. And yet Sam Baker manages to make what has got to be one of the finest Americana albums in recent years. He believes in storytelling and that everyone is at the mercy of another one's dream.

Sally Timms (born 29 November 1959 in Leeds, England) is a singer and songwriter. Sally is best known for her long involvement with The Mekons whom she joined in 1986. The Embers

There are two bands called The Embers: an American beach music band and a country rock band from Sussex in England. 1. The Embers are a popular beach music band that were popular during the 70's and 80's. They sang the famous "I Love Beach Music". The Embers have been Playing beach music around the Carolinas since 1958. The Band was formed by drummer and band leader Bobby Tomlinson. There first nation wide song was " Far Away Places" in 1969 on the MGM label.
