Melodica

In 2000, Ted Poley joined the band Melodica with Gerhard Pichler on guitar. As a band, they released several albums: USAcoustica, and Lovemetal among them. During this time, Poley returned to U.S. and played for the first time in seven years. Wikipedia Apparently, there are a few bands with the same name that play different music and, somehow, share this page, for example; the green scary logo does not belong to the melodica whose tracks you can listen to here.

Heaven's Edge

Heavens Edge was a highly melodic rock band that flirted with AOR. They played a similar style to that of Harem Scarem but came upon the metal scene too late to make many waves.
Mark Evans (vocals), Reggie Wu (guitar/keyboards), Steven Parry (guitar), George "G.G." Guidotti (bass) and David Rath (drums) got together in Philadelphia, PA to form Heavens Edge. With an uncanny ability of fusing hard rock riffs with huge melodies, it wasn't long before their demo tape attracted Columbia records and resulted in a recording contract.

ATLANTIC came together in the early part of 2009 as an off-the-cuff project for current and past members of Sunset Suicides, El Mark, nancythompson and The Glasses. House of Lords

An extension of the band Giuffria, House Of Lords implemented the same majestic and melodic approach to heavy metal. Their brand of keyboard laced arena rock sold in vast amounts, but an unwillingness to tour proved to kill any initial interest the group had garnered.
When KISS' Gene Simmons signed Giuffria to his RCA offshoot Simmons Records, he insisted that the group change their name and recommended they replace singer David Glen Eisley.

Brother Firetribe

Brother Firetribe is an Album Oriented Rock (AOR) band formed in 2002 in Finland. They describe their music as easy going rock. The band was originally called False Metal, but they changed their name to Brother Firetribe; however, the album is called ‘False Metal’. They take their name from an in-joke as a perfect description for their music is ‘tennis heavy’ and the name of a well known Finnish tennis player Veli Paloheimo translates into English as ‘Brother Firetribe’. The album title ‘False Metal’ comes from a slogan coined by heavy metal group Manowar, ‘Death to False Metal’.
