While living in the rather dark and cold North of Finland, he got into the jungle thing in the mid-nineties – soon after hearing some electronic music during the earlier years of the decade. Around that time, he also started experimenting with electronic music and sampling for the first time.

The Heroes

Hello,
We are The Heroes. We began in April 07 with 4 members and recently in March 08 had a band line up change (drummer and bassist). The band now comprises of Alex Totman (Vocals), Alex 'Rooster' Van Roose (Guitar), Ali Lee (Bass) and Craig Blockley (Drums). Since the new band line up change The Heroes have had a couple of huge local gigs that have really started to create a buzz in the city. In the more recent months The Heroes have created the clubnight 'OVERDRIVE' which has proven to be one of the biggest clubnights the midlands have to offer - consistently selling out the charlotte.

Brother Firetribe

Brother Firetribe is an Album Oriented Rock (AOR) band formed in 2002 in Finland. They describe their music as easy going rock. The band was originally called False Metal, but they changed their name to Brother Firetribe; however, the album is called ‘False Metal’. They take their name from an in-joke as a perfect description for their music is ‘tennis heavy’ and the name of a well known Finnish tennis player Veli Paloheimo translates into English as ‘Brother Firetribe’. The album title ‘False Metal’ comes from a slogan coined by heavy metal group Manowar, ‘Death to False Metal’.
