Sleep Party People

Sleep Party People - the bedroom project of Brian Batz - is like one of those fairy tale gems that keep radiating magical colours when it’s dark, that actually grow bigger and brighter when nighttime falls. It's something special and important and utterly beautiful. With the aid of an old drum machine, a piano and a guitar, a unique dreamlike universe arises. With traces of My Bloody Valentine shoegaze, Cocteau Twins mystique and Flaming Lips idiosyncracy the result is hard to define. But who cares?

Society Suckers

**The Society Suckers** make frantic, precisely arranged psychedelic pogo trash music. born out of a frustration with emotionless dance music, 1997's debut "Anti-carnivore" featured their trademark ultrahigh frequency melodies and precisely arranged hyper breakbeats, becoming a breakcore standard before the genre had a name. Their live shows blend focused turntable skills with emotionally charged gear tormenting - it's a manic combination of Breakcore opera, Rave hooks, pogo anthems and structural mayhem.

W is her new album, the follow-up to her 2006 debut Have It All, which was a full-on chamber-pop romp that established Planningtorock as anything but orthodox.
A ball of energy that landed as if by happy accident in the middle of the art, fashion and music worlds, Planningtorock allowed Janine to travel the globe performing at gig venues and arts events.

Giuseppe Ielasi

Apparently mining his own aural Sutton Hoo, Giuseppe Ielasi is an Italian experimental guitarist and electronic botherer, who pulls all sorts of musical styles from the trench labelled 'Gesine'. Coming across as partially improvised, 'Gesine' is Ielasi's first solo work since 2003's 'Plan's, and is again witness to a veritable cornucopia of finds. Ranging from shuffling Bert Jansch folk and diet-drone, through to glitch plagued bass and waterlogged guitars, 'Gesine' is superficially sepulchral, but penetrate the surface and it's an eclectic oasis of melodious rectitude.
