The Young Gods

The Young Gods are an electronic/industrial band, formed in Switzerland in 1985. Current and past members include Franz Treichler (lead vocals), Alain Monod (a.k.a Al Comet) and Cesare Pizzi (keyboards) and Frank Bagnoud, Use Hiestand and Bernard Trontin (drums). They are generally considered to have been about 20 years ahead of their times, generating music that could still be considered on the bleeding edge today (due to the reliance on samples and sequencers, their concerts sound pretty much the same today as they did then).

Blasted

After sharing the stage in East Europe with Pro-Pain and Zuul FX, Blasted release their first full-length, “ALCHEMY”. Produced by themselves, “Alchemy” packs plenty of energy and neck-breaking riffs and hopefully would drive you nuts! Their way quite impressively evolved since the story began in 2000, in Martigny (CH) when Yomgui (bass) joined Nico (guitar) and Simon (drums). Their common love for heavy sounds blended with ultimate grooves inspired them to composing their own songs, trying to fill the gap between Pantera and Machine Head.

Antoine Chessex

Antoine Chessex is a Swiss saxophone player, improviser, composer and musician born in 1980 in Vevey, Switzerland. His works are based on the exploration of the physicality of sounds and spaces. Nowadays Chessex plays mostly as a solo performer appearing either in fully acoustic settings where his circular breathing textures react with the sonic architecture of the space he is performing in or amplifying his horn with amps or PA systems and electronic devices often resulting in intense live actions.

Debonair

The cinematic sounding music by this Swiss duo features a transparent und well-tempered mix of acoustic and electronic elements. In March 2006, "somewhere, midair" by debonair was officially released in Switzerland (vacuum records / recrec). This release will hopefully be available for download in a large number of countries soon. The music on the 14 tracks invites to quietly be discovered by listeners all over the world: melancholy song-sketches, epic atmospheric instrumentals and tracks experimenting with motives, united as a whole by trademark debonair harmonies.
