MC Frontalot is the stage name of Damian Hess, a hip hop musician and self-proclaimed "world's 579th-greatest rapper." Many of his songs deal with things nerdy in nature, which has led him to be categorized as nerdcore, a word he himself coined in his first single, "Nerdcore Hip Hop". In 2002, the popular webcomic Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com) declared him their official rapper laureate.
Circle Takes the Square (often abbreviated CTTS) is a band from Savannah, Georgia, USA. The band formed in 2001 as a four-piece and after their first two releases they lost a guitarist but gained another in late 2004. What listeners tend to notice first about the band is the loud screaming of both male and female vocals that often function in a kind of call and response. Skillful, chaotic drumming coupled with intense, highly technical bass/guitar work have served to separate the band from most others in the screamo genre.

Actually they are just two guys. int eighty is a programmer in Cincinnati, Ohio; and c64 is a graphic designer in Greater Manchester, England. They originally met several years ago on an underground hip hop website. "His beats made me want to rap, and he quickly became one of my favorite producers," recalls eighty in regards to c64's production.
Printed Circuit is a pseudonym of Claire Broadley, a musician from Leeds, UK. She began making music as a solo artist in June 1999, aged 19. During the next five years, she released records on labels like Tigerbeat6, Elefant, 555 and her own label, Catmobile. Her influences are continually taken from diverse sources, most obviously from the Acorn Electron computer games of her youth, but the only real constant is her own ability to tessellate simple melodies into far more complex compositions. Del the Funky Homosapien is an alternative hip-hop artist. Del was born Teren Delvon Jones, August 12, 1972, in Oakland, California. Del was part of his cousin Ice Cube’s backing band Da Lench Mob and made his first solo album, I Wish My Brother George Was Here, with support from his cousin in 1991. Critics and fans had mixed opinions about the album, many feeling that Del’s and Cube’s styles weren't an ideal match.
Kettel is Reimer Eising (born 1982), a self-described "elixir-brewing, camping-loving and musicmaking sorcerer-to-be." He is well-known for his playful, spontaneous melodies and organic folk sounds similar to Aphex Twin, Jega, and Plaid. Kettel has frequently performed live in his home country of the Netherlands, including at the Virus festival in Eindhoven, the Dutch Electronic Arts Festival in Rotterdam, and at Eurosonic and Noorderzon in his home town of Groningen. He has also collaborated on several projects of various remixes and compilations on his many record labels.
Hailing from the Northwest, Beefy is a massive presence in the nerdcore hip-hop scene. Since 2005, Beefy has been pushing his positive, pop culture influenced message worldwide, beginning with his debut The Whitesican EP. Never afraid to make references to X-Men comic books or video game vixens, Beefy has also found a way to create his own style backed by pop, rock, and hard powered rap production.
MC Lars, real name Andrew Nielsen, (born October 6, 1982 in Berkeley, California) is an American rapper. He is the self-proclaimed originator of "post-punk laptop rap". He has recorded for Truck Records in the UK and his Laptop EP is licensed to Sidecho Records in the USA. He was formerly known as MC Lars Horris but changed his pseudonym to MC Lars in 2004 for the sake of simplicity.
