God Is an Astronaut

God Is an Astronaut are an instrumental three piece hailing from the Glen of the Downs, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. They formed in 2002 and released their debut album The End of the Beginning the same year on their own Revive Records label. Their two music videos for The End of the Beginning and From Dust to the Beyond, received airplay on MTV UK and on other MTV European networks. All Is Violent, All Is Bright (2005) is the band's second album. The album features their build ups from serene ambience to searing intensity and is a closer representation of their live sound.

There are several artists who use the name Molasses: a.) a musical collective from Montreal, Quebec (see picture) b.) a pop band from San Francisco, California c.) a noise-rock band from London, UK a.)
The Canadian post-rock band is a collective of up to sixteen musicians built around songwriter Scott Chernoff. Members are involved with other ventures such as Fly Pan Am, the Boxhead Ensemble, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the Shalabi Effect, and Codeine. They play , a genre fusing traditional North American folk aesthetics with the free ethos of musique actuelle.

Corleone

There are at least two artists named "Corleone": 1) Combining post-rock ideals with unique vocals and dark, brooding lyrics, Corleone are a four-piece band from Sheffield, UK.
The band self-released two EPs; Crude Black Millions, recorded in May 2005 and TV! Sing Me To Sleep, recorded in March 2006. A second run of TV! Sing Me To Sleep has since been released through Corps Morts.
Though some characteristic post-rock sounds are present in many of their songs, this does not define the music, which is enhanced with unique vocals.

Qua

Qua is Melbourne based Cornel Wilczek who started the project in 2001. It started with an invite to play with Pretty Boy Crossover in Melbourne, Australia. From the pressure of sorting out a live set .. and finishing songs, something became apparent - the songs actually worked. Over the next year of live performances the album "Forgetabout" was formed and eventually released in August 2002. The next 2 years saw Qua becoming a regular in the Australian live scene.

Waltz is musician Brandon DeHart. Brandon DeHart operates Last View Parable Records and has been composing and recording instrumental music since 2001. In 2003, Brandon DeHart graduated from Miami University - Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Creative Writing. Brandon currently resides in Riverview, Florida. A little bit ambient, a little bit post-rock. Waltz often feels like a soundtrack to a movie, though there's a variety of different techniques used from minimalism to complex electronica.
