Oi Polloi

Oi Polloi's first studio recording was a demo entitled Destroi the System, which is believed to have been released in 1984 or 1985. After the now defunct music weekly Sounds gave their previous home-recorded demo a favourable review, demand increased for gigs further afield. A second studio demo, Green Anarchoi followed before the release of the first vinyl offering, Resist the Atomic Menace. The line-up of the group has starred an impressive fifty members since their formation, making up the countless incarnations of the band. The band is currently based in Scotland.

No Respect

There is more than one artist with the name 'No Respect': 1)No Respect was a german skapunk-band with mostly political lyrics. The main topics are antifascism, anarchy and freedom. 2)Some nasty and ripping metal that smacks of the bad boy L.A. scene of old, conjuring images of GNR, L.A. Guns, and early Skid Row, as well as some of the early carefree work of both Saigon Kick and Ugly Kid Joe.

The rhythm section was composed of an East Bay punk known as Mike-o the Psycho, on bass, Jim Gray, a Canadian who temporarily moved to SoCal, on guitar, the more well-known Dave (E.

Fear Like Us

A demo came out in 05, a split with another Newcastle band Scarlet Fever. With both demos unavailable now, it's hard to get your hands on some of these old recordings. Towards the end of 2006, Joel joined the band on drums, which added a more fuller sound for an ever-increasing in popularity band.
