Miss Jools

London native Julia Porter, known to many as Miss Jools, has not only found a home in Berlin since the summer of 2008 but a reputable DJ name as well. Miss Jools officially launched her career in the music industry in 1995 after a series of DJ gigs around London landed her a radio spot on London’s underground radio station, “Girls FM.” Miss Jools was able to freely exercise her musical tastes and choices twice a week on the radio show: her hand-picked vinyl selections were inspired by assorted techno and house pioneers of the early nineties.

Andrew Pekler

Andrew Pekler was born in Samarkand, Uzbekistan (then U.S.S.R.). His family immigrated to the U.S., eventually settling in Monterey, California. In the mid 90s he moved to Heidelberg, Germany to attend university. Since 2000 he has been living and working in Berlin.

Under his own name he has produced two records for the ̃scape label, Station to Station (2002) and Nocturnes, False Dawns and Breakdowns (2004) as well as releasing Strings + Feedback (2005) on Staubgold. His latest album Cue, was released in June 2007 on Kranky (Chicago, USA).

Veteran UK electronic producer Dave Lee (aka Joey Negro) is one of the few people who can glide effortlessly from the chilly depths of the 'underground' to the moneyfied glitz of commercial music, while keeping both his dignity and his wide-ranging fan-base intact. Having moved on recently from the cool ad-friendly, chill-out throb of his Jakatta moniker, Dave has embarked upon a series of production projects including developing and producing new electro- rockers "The Like Me’s" due to release their first album at the end of this year.

Foster

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Foster is a U.S. band from New Jersey. After recording demos in a friend's home studio, the band built a following by opening for nationally known acts like Hidden in Plain View (Drive-Thru), Bayside (Victory), Limbeck (Doghouse), as well as many respected local artists. Foster recorded their debut EP with Matt Squire, and released it independently in the spring of 2004. In 2005 the band recorded three new demos, again with Matt Squire.

H.O.S.H. (Diynamic / Stil vor Talent / Kindisch) H.O.S.H from Hamburg / Germany formerly known as Holger Behn, started his producing career about five years ago, with the project Motion 040 together with Jay Pauli. With Releases on Get Physical, Paloma, Force Sense and Word and Sounds own Wizkidz / Waskidz and Remixes on Labels such like Plusquam or Pias he already got quiet a little bit arround.

Twelve

Twelve is a solo project of Chris Olley, lead singer and guitarist of the Nottingham, UK rock band Six By Seven. Twelve's songs are more heavily electronic than most of Six By Seven's, and are stylistically varied, including both guitar and electronics driven songs and elaborate textures along side more straightforwards songs. Olley has described Twelve as an "experiment". During Six By Seven's 2005-2006 breakup, Twelve was Olley's primary project, though in 2006 he also launched an electroclash project called Fuck Me USA.
