"X-Press 2" is an electronic and dance music trio from England. Members are Ashley Beedle, Diesel and Rocky. Their first single "The Sound" went to #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1996. 2001 saw the release of their album ''Muzikizum'' which contained two more US dance chart entries: "Smoke Machine" (#31) and "Lazy," which hit #1 in 2002. Lead vocals on "Lazy" are sung by David Byrne of Talking Heads, and on "I Want You" by Dieter Meier of Yello. X-press 2's last single 'Give It' was a collaboration featuring Lambchop's Kurt Wagner.

You wish he kicked us just once...but with his third release, the Kick'n Run EP, Don Rimini terrorizes dancefloors. that's the same dude who attacked fiercly with his Absolutely Rad EP and the infamous track "Let Me Back Up" which has been a fixture on dj sets by Busy P, MSTRKRFT, 2 Many DJs, Digitalism, Tiga, A-Trak, Aaron Lacrate, and Diplo among others.

Tiga

Tiga is the stage name of Montreal-born DJ/producer Tiga James Sontag (born 1974). He graduated from Selwyn House School, a prestigious school in Westmount. Before producing music, he was involved in the promotion of rave parties in his native city during the early 1990s, also Tiga was involved in the creation of world renowned afterhours club SONA. In 1994, he opened a record store named DNA Records, and in 1998 founded his own label, Turbo Recordings.

1) Wink (ウィンク) were a popular Japanese pop female duo in the late 1980s and early-to-mid 1990s. The two members were Sachiko Suzuki (鈴木早智子 Suzuki Sachiko, born February 22, 1969) and Shōko Aida (相田翔子 Aida Shōko, born February 23, 1970). They released their first single on April 27, 1988, and their final release was on 31 March 1996. Many of their singles topped the Oricon charts in Japan, including their biggest hit, “Sabishii Nettaigyo”, which has since been covered by W.

About Alex Arnout: I have been producing house music under different guises (DaLunartikz, Dread Poets, Sublunar, Ceramix) for the last ten years. In 1999 I started working with Daz I Kue from Bugz In the Attic whilst engineering for Arthrob Records in London and formed 'Da Lunartikz'. In 2000 we announced ourselves on the scene with 'Higher', a classic broken beat track which was released to critical acclaim and championed by the likes of Seiji, Bugz in the Attic and Cosmo.

808 State

808 State are an English electronic music outfit formed in 1988 in Manchester, taking their name from the Roland TR-808 drum machine. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of acid house, they were formed by Graham Massey (from ex-factory records band Biting Tongues), Martin Price and Gerald Simpson (later to record as A Guy Called Gerald) and released their debut Newbuild in 1988. Autechre and Aphex Twin have often cited Newbuild as being enormously influential, and the group achieved some degree of chart success in the UK in the early 1990s with releases Pacific State, Cubik and In Yer Face.
