The Electric Press are a fully live electronic synth-funk experience. Often with double-acts, the two component personalities look very odd on paper and yet turn out to be outstanding in practise. Situations such as this often create the best working partnerships with the most creative end product – this can definitely be said of The Electric Press. "Little" Louie Vega. Louie Vega is the Miles Davis of dance music. Like the impossible to categorize Davis, Vega is constantly reinventing himself; and revolutionizing the musical landscape in the process. During his nearly two-decade long career, Vega has crafted some of the most ground-breaking singles in dance music history (“The Nervous Track”, “It’s Alright, I Feel It” and “You Can Do It”), kick started genres like soulful house (“Beautiful People,” “I Get Lifted”), and revitalized the careers of legends like Roy Ayers, George Benson and Tito Puente.

What remains most significant on their output through the main label Skudge Records, as well as their remix material present on a row of different labels, it must be their exceptional sense of loops and unexpected detail in their productions.
dOP is a brand new trio from Paris, which is made up of Clement Zemtsov (beat programming), Damien Vandesande (keyboards and horns) and last but not the least Lelli (lyrics and vocals). Having released two very highly rated EPs on Milnormodern and Circus Company in 2007, they are about to embark on a tour of Europe’s top clubs in 2008. Don't miss them on stage, as they have a unique musical approach to dance music that is all their own. With their first album "Between The Blues" slated for release in October 2008, the future is looking very bright for the Frenchmen.
