Steve Hogarth is best known as the lead vocalist of Marillion, where he replaced Fish in 1989. He also has released solo material, notably Ice Cream Genius (1997) under the name of H. Prior to joining Marillion, Hogarth was a member of the bands The Europeans and How We Live.

Galleon started as a three piece named Aragon back in ´85 , experimenting with different kind of music and musicians , but never really found the "right" feeling. . . Because Micke Värn, guitars - Göran Fors, bass and Vocals and Dan Fors, drums had the idea , they wanted at least to document their sweat and blood in composing the music they believed in under so many years , just in case . . .
ABEL GANZ http://www.abelganz.com was formed in 1980 by keyboard player Hew Montgomery and multi-instrumentalist Hugh Carter. Although both had played in various bands together over the years, it was a shared interest in progressive rock and a need for a songwriting platform that brought about the birth of Abel Ganz. The line up was completed with the addition of guitarist Malky McNiven and drummer Ken Weir. Rehearsing in the back of Hugh's music shop the band went on to record the "Cottage Label" tape which received favourable reviews in several "prog" fanzines.
Also Eden are an upcoming British progressive rock band. Their influences are Genesis, Yes, Marillion and IQ, but also contemporary artists like Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, The Flower Kings and many more. Comedy Of Errors is a Glasgow-based progressive rock band formed in January 1984 with a first line-up of Jim Johnson (keyboards, vocals), Joe Cairney (vocals), John McPhee (drums), Mark Spalding (bass) and Mike Barnard (guitar). Their first recording is a three track demo cassette called "Ever be the Prize", which is recorded at a studio in Blanefield (Scotland) in 1985, and followed by a mini album in 1986.
iamthemorning is a neo-classical vocal indie band from Russia. Full band consists of piano, vocals, guitar, bass-guitar, drums and string quartet and sounds like prog-rock with arrangements, influenced by Russian Classical Music heritage and various ethnic motifs. The sound may vary, as the band can play both acoustic sets (grand piano, vocals, string quartet) - and then it turns to fragile neo-classical (thought, rather gloomy) collective, and prog-rockish sets when fragility of neo-classical concept is being empowered by sophisticated rhythm section and jazzy guitar.

(I) A British Progressive Rock band (II) A Psytrance musician (III) A Funeral Doom Metal band from Russia (IV) A three-piece Progressive/Psychedelic Extreme Metal band from Australia. I: QUASAR was formed in 1979 by founder Keith Turner. They found themselves to be amongst a movement of British bands during the early 1980s, including Marillion, Pendragon, Twelfth Night, Solstice and Pallas, that continued in the progressive rock style created by 1970s bands such as Genesis and Yes.
