Joe Locke

The critical community continually cites Joe Locke for his artistic work. He has been voted the #1 vibist in DownBeat Magazine's Critic's Poll (TDWR) and Brazil's International Jazz Poll, has recorded over 40 CDs as a band leader, and as producer and a sideman he appears on almost 100 recordings.

Gary Burton

Gary Burton (born on 23 January 1943 in Anderson, Indiana) is a jazz vibraphone player, known for developing the innovative technique of playing the instrument with four mallets, rather than the usual two. He studied with Herb Pomeroy at the Berklee College of Music, where he met the composer and arranger Michael Gibbs, with whom he subsequently collaborated frequently. Burton, who released his debut album in 1961 at the age of 18, spent the early parts of his career playing with George Shearing and then in Stan Getz's piano-less mid-sixties quartet.

Steve Nelson born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American vibraphonist, and has been a member of Dave Holland's Quintet and Big Band for over a decade. He graduated from Rutgers University with both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in music, and his teaching activities have included a position at Princeton University.[1] He has appeared at concerts and festivals worldwide and has made recordings as the leader of his own group.

Self taught British vibraphone player who was a founder member of jump/jive band The Chevalier Brothers in the eighties before forming The Beaujolais Band. A constantly sort after session musician, he now has his own label (StayTuned Records) and teaches jazz vibraphone at Trinity College of Music, London. Benny Goodman

Benny Goodman, born Benjamin David Goodman, (May 30, 1909 – June 13, 1986) was an American musician, known as King of Swing, Patriarch of the Clarinet, The Professor, and Swing's Senior Statesman. Goodman was regarded by some as a demanding taskmaster, by others an arrogant and eccentric martinet. Many musicians spoke of The Ray, Goodman's trademark glare that he bestowed on a musician who failed to perform to his demanding standards.

Corey Mwamba

Corey Mwamba creates music using vibraphone, dulcimer, electronics and small instruments. His music contains elements of jazz, folk from different countries, and electronica. Corey was born in Derby and has lived there most of his life, with stops in London, Mufulira in Zambia, Southampton and Birmingham. He has a Chemistry degree and is virtually self-taught in music, having made the decision to take up vibraphone in his late teens after seeing a picture of Orphy Robinson in a book and taking five lessons with the orchestral percussionist Lewis Dyson.
