There are multiple artists with this name: 1. Nox is an industrial band from Metz, France. They fromed in 1981 by Cécile Babiole, and went into a trio with Gerome Nox (G-nox), and Laurent Perrier joining the band later on. The Laurent Pernice joined in the 90's to make the line up complete. Their heavy tribal percussion, hypnotic guitars and war chants just push them as the right link between industrial and hardcore. 2. Nox is a death metal band from the The Hague, Netherlands.

György Kurtág was born on 19th February 1926 at Lugoj in Romania, not far from the birthplace of fellow hungarian György Ligeti. Both young composers hoped to study with Béla Bartók in Budapest in 1945, but Bartók died in America and Kurtág went on to study piano, composition and chamber music with other teachers at the Budapest Academy. Among his early works was a Korean Cantata which expressed solidarity with the North Koreans in the Korean War against the US, but he reached the age of thirty-three before he was willing to give any of his works opus numbers.
KFT was founded in 1981 in Hungary, KFT (Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság - "Ltd." in English) is the first true alternative new wave band of Hungary, they had immense popularity in the '80-s, writing hit songs like Bábu vagy, Afrika, Bál az Operaházban, Balatoni nyár, all became cult classics in Hungary. Their songs have a strange, abstract lyrics, thanks to lead vocalist András Laár and keyboardist Tibor Bornai.

After a week of borrowing each other's records, Amulet recorded their first demo in September 1993. Little did they know that this was the beginning of a working relationship spanning over a decade. They formed as a three piece with Lars Rasmussen on guitar, Torgny Amdam on vocals/drums and Arne Haabeth on bass. The two first official releases dabbled in teenage sentimentality: the self-titled debut and the Engrave EP were emo before emo achieved genre-status.
