The Fireballs

The group was christened the FIREBALLS® after their standing ovation performance of "Great Balls of Fire" at the Raton High School PTA talent contest in New Mexico, USA...January 1958. By the year's end they had auditioned for the late Norman Petty at his already internationally famous recording studio at 1313 W. 7th Street, Clovis, New Mexico, where it stands today - a monumental contribution to the birth of early Southwest style Rock & Roll.

Vince Ray

Vince Ray has also recorded as a member of Vern Vain & The Blue Veins and also with his new backing group as Vince Ray & the Boneshakers.
Rockabilly Voodoo Gretsch guitar over a rhythmic rockin’ tornado of pounding Rock’n’Roll drums and Psychobilly upright bass slapped senseless. Vince Ray plays as hard as Rockabilly can be played, blasting out songs with similar themes to Ray’s incredible artwork… gruesome Rock’n’Roll Zombies, bad bad girls, cool cats in too-fast cars, booze, tattoos…

Blacktop

Blacktop was the first post-Gories project for Mick Collins. While similar to the legendary garage punk three-piece, Blacktop is a clear progression, in terms of musicianship and songwriting skill, for Collins and is also the beginning of his movement towards noisier material. The band's sound was fuller and more sophisticated, due in no small part to the addition of a bass line and the songwriting input of Darin Lin Wood ( Black Snakes with Richard Kern, Fireworks and '68 Comeback) and Alex Cuervo.

Luna Vegas

Luna Vegas formed after Nick Plant (bass) and Daz Night (guitar) got together at the end of 2004. They started reminiscing about old times when they used to play in a band called Stench, a psychobilly band from the late 1980's and early 1990's. Nick and Daz decided that they would start jamming again, so Daz went out and bought himself a new guitar and Nick bought himself a new double bass. They started jamming in Daz's lounge just for the enjoyment of playing music again, but they then decided to take it further and start a band.
