Hank Williams III

Shelton Hank Williams (born December 12, 1972 in Nashville Tennesee) is an American musician. He is sometimes credited as Hank III. The grandson of Hank Williams and the son of Hank Williams Jr, he spent much of his early years playing drums in punk rock bands. In 1996, child support payments led Hank III to sign a contract with Music City giant Curb. Three Hanks: Men With Broken Hearts was issued shortly thereafter, which brought the voices of all three generations of Williams men together.

Listen: There were young two men from Lieto, Finland, - Guitarist/Singer Tero Kohtamäki and Slap-bass player Jukka Nurmi, who've been friends for a lifetime. Those 20-year-old boys found a drummer, Arto Korhonen, and hallelujah! They got a band, nominated and christened: PAIN IN ARSE, formed in late 1991. A raw sounding punk-a-billy trio, real honest thing, honeys! Our music was essentially pure evergreen Rock-a-billy, intermixed with straight punk.

The Brilliant Corners

At long last a band is being recognised for the influence it has had without the commercial acclaim that some of their songs deserved.
This seminal Bristol band consisted of a nucleus of Chris Galvin (bass) and David Woodward (vocals and guitars) with Bob Morris (drums) plus various others during their ten years of existence.
Through various styles they created a unique Bristol slant on the 80's which was never deemed glamorous by the press or music gliterrati in general. Some may say that the Bristol scene was insular but it was really about being yourself and getting on with things.
