Dr. Colossus

Dr. Colossus. Punk Jungle. Used to be hardcore but then he joined Myspace and started drinking Baileys Dr. Colossus first started making music around the year 2000 by playing guitar in various punk bands. He was always into the production side of things spending a lot of time trying to get a good sound out a shitty 4 track Tascam tape recorder. Around 2002 he got into UK hip - hop and first started making beats on computers. As he got older he started going to drum & bass raves.

Hailed by ARTISTdirect for a sound “somewhere between the glitch-psychosis of Squarepusher and the catchier than hell dance of Daft Punk,” Skrillex is the pseudonym used by Sonny Moore to differentiate his dance music from his band music. It was originally an old AIM screenname of his. Throughout 2010 Skrillex has become more and more a part of Sonny Moore’s life, having released the ‘My Name Is Skrillex EP” for free and ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ through Mau5trap on Beatport exclusively until November 19th, where it will arrive at all other digital distribution stores and websites.

Fighter X

Fighter X is the musical alias of Nickolas A. Walthew. Based out of Seattle, Washington, Fighter X enjoys producing various mixtures of idm and melodic dance tunes that generally revolve around the low-fi audio of vintage videogame consoles. For the past year and a half, Fighter X has been using Little Sound DJ, a music sequencer for the Nintendo Game Boy. All early Fighter X material consists of a Korg Electribe MX-1, along with additional hardware.

Shitmat is the performing name of Henry Collins, a breakcore artist from Brighton, UK. His music is largely based around the Amen break, Gabber, Plunderphonics, jungle and drum 'n' bass. His music, sometimes referred to as "Mashcore", is known for the humorous use of samples atypical of "serious" Drum and bass artists and deliberate use of clichés. "Agricultural Ardcore" from Full English Breakfest Vol.5 is based around the theme tune to the UK radio soap opera The Archers.

Bizzy B

For those who don't know, Bizzy B's Brain label was one of the most futuristic in the early days when hardcore was becoming jungle. From 92-94 they released some of the best junglistic'ardcore there was. Classics like Darkness, Weekend, Dubplate Wars, 2 Dope ep, and artists like TDK whose TOG sublabel was a peak of amen choppage). Brain also put out the debut releases of Marc Caro (Technical Itch), Peshay and DJ Zinc (in the Swift and Zinc eps) and Slammin' Vinyl's Mike Slammer and Red Alert's first 2 releases.
