Andrea Masetti - drums SLOWTORCH formed in Bolzano, Italy, in early 2004. Known as Godmachine at first, the band was renamed after a number of line-up changes. The style remained the same - loud, straight-in-the-face rock music with stoner influences, which has been compared to that of Clutch, Black Label Society and Black Sabbath. The band played support slots for various big names, including Ill Niño, Nick Oliveri’s Mondo Generator, Dutch heavyweights Toner Low and German krautrockers Colour Haze.

1) Burden is a finnish thrash metal metal band. It was founded in autumn 2008. Sami (bass guitar/vocals) and Henkka (rhythm guitar) phoned Matias (drums) so they could form a band. Later Henkka asked Otto (lead guitar) to join the band, and he did. After they had composed some songs of their own, they practiced hard and went to the studio.

Allison Weiss

Allison Weiss is an American guitar player and singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. Weiss first picked up a guitar at age 14 in an attempt to become a punk rock star and impress her high school crush, and though the teenage romance died after one short month, her passion for music lived on. After moving to Athens, GA in 2005, Weiss spent the next five years in and out of various pseudo-relationships which fueled the fire for one infectious breakup song after another.

Dirty Sweet

Dirty Sweet is an american rock band formed in the fall of 2003 in San Diego, USA. Just months after their formation the band toured as main support for Jimmy Eat World and made headlines in the British music magazine NME. Orange Goblin

Formed in 1995 in London, originally under the name of Our Haunted Kingdom, but changed to Orange Goblin after a 7" with Electric Wizard in 1996 with company Rise Above Records. Orange Goblin are stoner/doom metal although have moved steadily heavier with a slight tinge of punk creeping in. They are heavily influenced by Black Sabbath, which can be heard throughout their albums, particulary the first three - Frequencies From Planet ten, Time Traveling Blues and the acclaimed Big Black

Paul F. Tompkins

Paul F. Tompkins (born September 12, 1968) in (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.) started out in stand-up comedy in 1986 at The Comedy Works, Philadelphia, PA, where he was half of a duo with the late Rick Roman. He moved to Los Angeles in 1994. Tompkins appeared and wrote for The Daily Show in 1998, before Jon Stewart took over as anchor. In 1998, he created Driven to Drink, a one-man show that aired on HBO.

Komatsu plays a vibrant mix of stoner, rock and metal and uses a lot of samples. Take a dash of Repomen’s brutality, add a piece of GodsChosenDealer’s compelling boldness and a pinch of SQY’s determination and robustness. Run over with a bulldozer, compress, chop up, and casually weld back together. Add a daub of paint and behold the birth of a new machine: Komatsu.
