Starve

Check out our blog - http://ilovestarve.blogspot.com The music of STARVE is a soundtrack to all the filth, despair, injustice, fear and greed we see in the world around us. The band is inspired by music ranging from the harsh bleakness of sludge metal to the gritty defiance of old blues songs, sometimes mixing these with the unhurried attitudes of legendary southern rock bands. After releasing a demo early in 2010 and playing a variety of shows, the debut full length record 'Wasteland' was recorded during the blistering heat of the summer of the same year.

The Trees

See also Trees.
There are two bands/artists called The Trees: 1) Trees were an English folk rock band that existed between 1969 and 1972. Although they met with little commercial success in their time, the reputation of the band has grown over the years. Like other similar bands at the time, their music were influenced by Fairport Convention, though with a heavier and more psychedelic edge. The group

Horisont

Yes, another Swedish 70’s inspired hard rock band! I guess Sweden ranks no. 1 in the world when it comes to this genre. Horisont picks up where Witchcraft and Graveyard laid down the cornerstones and they are out on Crusher Records who also nurses Dead Man. So if you’re a sucker for music inspired by Pentagram, Blue Cheer and what not ….. and you dig denim and long haired guys this is a kick ass record. Horisont is all about blues rock and boogie with heavy riffing and long guitar solos.

Wo Fat

Tearing through the speakers like a swamp monster summoned from some dark cosmic morass, Texas riffmasters Wo Fat unapologetically blast out a southern fried, blues-infused version of Psychedelic Doom, conjuring up visions of hoodoo shacks, prowling undead, hell hounds at the crossroads, Lovecraftian cultists and ghouls, and worlds beyond where the riff reigns almighty. Wo Fat rose from the deep and began their psyche-doom-adelic quest circa 2003 when guitarist Kent Stump formed the band with drummer Michael Walter and bassist Tim Wilson.

G.U. Medicine

G.U. Medicine are a tight gang of hard drinking scoundrels who also play heavy rock music very loudly and often way too fast. Formed with the intention of getting free booze for playing music G.U. recorded their 1st L.P in 2004 released through the excellent Undergroove label. Imaginatively titled "G.U. Medicine", the album received rave reviews in the music press both in the U.K and Elsewhere. Other drinkers were quick to jump on the (badly driven) bandwagon and The Medicine recorded sessions for BBC Radio 1's Rock Show and Ian Camfield's XFM show.
