Engel

Engel is an industrial/melodic death metal band. They hail from Gothenburg, Sweden and in addition, their bassplayer origins from England. Engel is also a Dutch rapper, who released his debut album "Engelland"in 2008. Fans of the band?
Formed at Göteborg, Sweden back in 2004, Niclas Engelin and Marcus Sunesson felt that they should bring something new to the genre. Lineup as of September 2010:

Lunatic Fringe

There are at least two bands that call themselves Lunatic Fringe. 1. A punk band from Bristol, U.K., active from 1980 to 1986. Key releases included the 'Who's in Control?' E.P. and the 'Cringe With The Fringe' E.P. as well as the track 'British Man' on Riot City's 'Riotous Assembly' compilation. Line-up included Bear Hakenbush (vocals, see 1st photo), John Finch (guitar), Nick Horn (bass) and Age Blackmore (drums). Contemporaries of, and frequently played with, Disorder, Chaos U.K. and Amebix.

Solitary Experiments

Solitary Experiments formed in 1994 as a collaboration between Dennis Schober and Michael Thieleman, who had briefly collaborated before as 'Plague'. The following years saw occasional live shows and the release of a couple of demo tapes before the song 'God, Where Are You?' from the 'New Violent Breed' compilation in 1999, which would become a hit in their native Germany as well as Holland and the USA. Their debut album 'Final Approach' was released on Machinery later that year.

Shihad

Shihad are a four-piece band from New Zealand, comprising Jon Toogood (guitar/vocals), Tom Larkin (drums), Karl Kippenberger (bass) and Phil Knight (guitar). Their style is best described as "hard rock", although they were described as "metal" in their formative years. Shihad were formed in 1988 in Wellington, New Zealand. They were briefly known between 2002-2004 as "Pacifier". During this time the band was attempting to break into the US market and it was decided that Shihad sounded too much like the arabic word 'jihad', thus the name change. Their major albums and EPs include:
