Formed in 2003 and hailing from Richmond, VA Skylines has been doing it's very best to provide it's own unique and heartfelt form of rockl to the underground music scene. Citing influences such as Spitfire, Frodus, Deadguy, Radiohead, Converge, and Coalesce; Skylines continuely strives to write and release music that repesents them as individuals, expresses a unique interpretation of the events around them, and appeals to enthusiastes of heavy music.
Spock's Beard is a progressive rock band formed in 1992 in Los Angeles by brothers Neal and Alan Morse. Neal (keyboards/vocals) and Alan (guitars) were joined by fellow musicians Nick D'Virgilio (Nick D'Virgilio, drums - also known as NDV) and Dave Meros (bass), and were later joined by veteran keyboardist Ryo Okumoto. Spock's Beard play a brand of progressive rock with pop music leanings, drawing much influence from Genesis and The Beatles. They are also well known for their intricate multi-part vocal harmonies and use of counterpoint much in the vein of Gentle Giant.
Cartoon Physics started life as a project of Peter Ayscough and Sam Magriplis of Brisbane Australia. Pete and Sam have been collaborating since the mid 90's when they played together in Edie's Playpen - also from Brisbane. Following the inevitable split of Edies', Sam joined the moderately successful Mocking Room, while Pete regressed to his home studio to continue writing. In 2008 Sam and Pete started a new musical collaboration.
Black Sixteen was formed in London, UK in late 2010 by songwriter Amir Khan (formerly of grunge-rockers 'Unusual Pets') on guitar, accompanied by Matt Burn on the drums, under the temporary moniker of 'Rain Hits Concrete'. The current line-up was completed with the addition of Alex Brock (previously in 'The Moscow Undergound') on bass and Laura Sepp (from Estonian metal outfit 'Label Of Guilt') on keyboards in early 2011.

A new album has been announced, "The Frozen Tears of Angels", billed for release in March. They incorporate classical music, baroque and power metal styles.
