Headcleaner

Headcleaner was a noise rock trio from UK, influenced by the Jesus Lizard, Therapy?, and Killing Joke. The band released the LPs 'Au Fou' (1992) and 'No Offense Meant...Plenty Taken' (1995), along with some EPs and 7". They also recorded a peel session.

A Witness

A Witness were an alternative rock band formed in 1982 in Stockport, Cheshire, England, by Rick Aitken, Vince Hunt and a drum machine, in 1986 replaced by Alan Brown (ex Big Flame). Keith Curtis and Noel Kilbride joined the group in 1983. Initially signing to the Ron Johnson label, debut EP Loudhailer Songs put them at the forefront of a wave of Beefheart-influenced bands that emerged in the mid-1980's. They gained further attention due to the inclusion of the track "Sharpened Sticks" on the NME's C86 cassette in the following year.

Magik Markers

The Magik Markers are a noise rock band from Hartford, Connecticut. The members, Elisa Ambrogio, Pete Nolan and Leah Quimby started the band in their basement in 2001. After opening for Sonic Youth on their American tour in 2004, the band gained notoriety. Their debut album, I Trust My Guitar, Etc. (released in vinyl only), was released in 2005 on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label. In 2006, they released A Panegyric To The Things I Do Not Understand under Gulcher Records, the Markers' first proper CD.

Singapore Sling

Singapore Sling is a band from Reykjavík, Iceland. As of 2009 they have released four albums and a best of compilation. Singapore Sling have supported The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their North American tours and covered Dirty Water a 1966 garage rock hit by The Standells in their debut album. They have also covered The Monks' I Hate You in the 2006 compilation Silver Monk Time: A Tribute to the Monks.

There are two artists with the name Alarmist. 1. A multi-instrumental four-piece from Dublin, Ireland (active from 2008 to present.) 2. A noise rock 4 piece from Portland, Oregon. (Active from 2003 to 2005.) 1. Alarmist are an instrumental four-piece from Dublin, Ireland who formed in 2008. They are Neil Crowley, Elis Czerniak, Osgar Dukes and Barry O'Halpin. All members are multi-instrumentalists, playing an equal role in bringing together the organic and electronic elements that form their sound.
