Giovanni Gabrieli

Giovanni Gabrieli (c. 1554/1557–1612) was an Italian composer and organist. He was one of the most influential musicians of his time, and represents the culmination of the style of the Venetian School, at the time of the shift from Renaissance to Baroque idioms. He was probably born in Venice and probably studied with his uncle, the composer Andrea Gabrieli. He became the principal organist and composer at the church of San Marco in Venice, where his work made him one of the most noted composers in Europe.

Swim

SWIM are Joe Boyle and Richard Williams. Since a chance meeting in their adolescent years, the duo have been making music together. Surrounded by records of over 60 years of popular music, and trying to make the grey London skies feel like warmer climes an ocean away, the band are influenced by the synths and styles of their 80s heroes, from the likes of Talking Heads and New Order to the lush shoegaze discord of My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins. Crafting escapist, sun-kissed pop, SWIM garner their own, original sound, complemented by an endearing, soaring vocal.

The Second Grace

Imagine a journey. A journey that takes in the sights & sounds of places such as Sicily, Texas, Mexico, Buenos Aires, London, Dublin, Antanarive and Cape Town. The perfect soundtrack to that journey is the atmospheric debut of The Second Grace, now ready to be taken on the road. The Second Grace sound evolved from a singer-songwriter ethos but gives more than a passing nod to lo-fi influences with its acoustic foundations, slide guitars, freaky percussion, accordian and fragile cello tones.

Gold Kids

Gold Kids saw the light at the beginning of 2006 in the city of Cagliari, Italy.
The main goal of this band was, and still is giving a voice to all those personal regrets and anger that had needed to be released. Life in our island isn’t easy due to the vast distance between the mainland and us. We are far from the many influential music scenes, in which we have to cross the ocean to reach. Touring as much as we can became our best weapon to escape from this physical and cultural isolation
