Urthboy

Urthboy is an Australian MC, hailing from the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. He started out in the late 90s with the live hip-hop group Explanetary, alongside fellow MC Realistix, Elgusto (drums) and Luke Dubs (keys). The latter two went on to form Hermitude. He quickly became involved with the fledgling Elefant Traks label, as well as becoming a founding member of The Herd. Currently a director and label manager of Elefant Traks, Urthboy oversees much of the daily operations of the label, from A&R work to promotions, media and accounts.

Dialect

There are several artists with the name Dialect. (1) Dialect is a lyricist from Adelaide, South Australia. In 2010 he & DJ/producer Despair released their debut album ‘The Vortex’. (2) Dialect is an electronic based project by Dan Lovegrove from Reading, England. His music consists of melodic harmonies of layered electronica with influences of post rock as well. The Herd

There is more than one band called The Herd. 1. The Herd is a hip-hop group from suburban Sydney. They have released four full-length albums since 2001's self-titled debut. Unusually for a hip-hop outfit, The Herd's full band format permits dynamic live shows. The Herd's members include MCs Ozi Batla, Urthboy and Berzerkatron, Unkle Ho (beats), Traksewt (piano accordion, clarinet and beats), Sulo (beats and guitar), Toe-Fu (guitar), Rok Poshtya (bass) and singer Jane Tyrrell. Their songs often feature politically-oriented lyrics.
