The Dodos formed in the early part of 2006 in San Francisco; shortly afterward, band member Meric Long released an EP entitled "Dodo Bird." In support of this EP Long and Logan Kroeber toured intermittently from July through September 2006, after which they released their first album, entitled "Beware of the Maniacs." In 2007, the band signed to the French kiss record label. In 2008, the band released a second album entitled "Visiter" and began a 17-venue springtime national tour.
Linda Thompson (born Linda Pettifer) started her singing career in the 1960s, doing advertising jingles for money and singing in folk clubs for enjoyment. She changed her name to Linda Peters, and was romantically linked to Martin Carthy before working with Richard Thompson, whom she married in 1972. As part of Richard & Linda Thompson she sang on a string of critically acclaimed albums until a bitter split in 1982.

Enlisting for the first time assistance of the cream of the city's independent music community to form the Atlas Mountains ensemble (members of Knowledge of Bugs, Whalebone Polly, Crescent and Movietone all feature), the results are a wonderful development of the playful pop sensibilities that informed his earlier material, marking a clear progression towards a richer, more confident sound.
The Felice Brothers are a folk rock/country rock band from upstate New York founded in 2006. It is comprised of the five main members Ian Felice (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Simone Felice (drums, vocals, guitar), James Felice (accordion, piano, organ), and their friend Christmas (bass), previously a traveling dice player. They have been joined by Farley, a washboard player and fiddler, and others who at times had a horn section to the band. The three brothers are from the Catskill Mountains of New York. They hail from Palenville, NY, twenty minutes from Woodstock.
Hop Along (formerly known as Hop Along, Queen Ansleis), which started out as Frances Quinlan’s solo project, is now a full-blown band, proudly adding Dominic Angelella of Dragonzord and Mark Quinlan of Netherfriends to the roster —-the 2005 release of “freshman year” is the act’s most solid album to date, but they released the album “Wretches” in mid 2009 while touring around the United States. Occasional touring/recording members include Eric Slick of Dr. Dog and Joe Baldacci of Dragonzord.

are a seven piece band based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Formed in December 2006, they have gigged continuously since then. The breadth of sound is shared amongst the seven members playing guitars, bass, violin, cello, accordion, mandolin, piano, trumpet, glockenspiel and drums. 2007 has been a busy year for the band with live sessions on BBC Radio One and BBC 6 Music, being Best of T Break Stage at T in the Park, and numerous gigs across Scotland.
Hundred Waters is a band formed of fate. Having been dear friends since childhood with musical releases under many different names, Hundred Waters is the butterfly hatched from those extensive past endeavors. The music transcends genres, mixing electronic, acoustic, and classical forms into a cohesive landscape that carries the listener through a series of unfamiliar sounds and sonic permutations. They have recently been signed to Skrillex's label OWSLA.
Thao and The Get Down Stay Down is a San Francisco, California-based (formerly Falls Church, Virginia) alternative folk rock music group. It consists of Thao Nguyen (vocals, guitar), and Adam Thompson (vocals, bass guitar, keyboards). Frank Stewart (lead guitar, production) and Willis Thompson (drums) are former members of the band. In January of 2008, the group released their debut album We Brave Bee Stings and All. In 2010, they released their second album Know Better Learn Faster. and In 2013, they released their third album We The Common
