.
A relentless sonic assault on the dance floor of ferocious drums, catastrophic sub bass, and sounds from another world

It is an unforgiving and punishing physical audio experience that will leave your body beat to the core and your soul wanting more
.
It is the gift of music from this four man hit squad with the intention to unite the masses on the dance floor through trying times

Artist Type:

Shlohmo

L.A. native Henry Laufer, the 21-year-old producer better known as Shlohmo, is a lo-fi beat junkie and field-recording enthusiast, whose crackling, low-BPM compositions update Boards of Canada's filmstrip-soundtrack wooziness. An LA native, Laufer grew up listening to "stuff like DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin, M83 stuff with some sort of cinematic vision." He started making beats when he was 14, but "didn't really do it with any sort of purpose until I was like 17 or 18. That was also around the time he and his friends, already fans of Flying Lotus, discovered Low End Theory.

Artist Type:

COH

CoH is the musical alias of Иван Павлов (Ivan Pavlov), a Russian-born sound artist and engineer.
He has lived in Sweden since 1995. After Pavlov moved to Sweden, he adopted the alias COH which can be read in Cyrillic as well as in Latin and means in Russian 'sleep' or 'dream'. CoH was once a collaborator of Coil and also worked with Annie Anxiety, Richard Chartier and Cosey Fanni Tutti. Side projects include oxy and SoiSong (a band with ex-Coil member Peter Christopherson)

Artist Type:

Ted Chippington

Ted Chippington (born 1960) is a British stand-up comedian and entertainer. His act is one in which the conventions of his chosen craft are routinely flouted. Assuming a diffident on-stage persona (in contrast to the self-confident aura of most comics) and delivering his material in a West Midlands monotone, he eschews observational comedy in favour of anti-humour and jokes which are mostly variations on the same theme (see examples below), interspersed with his own versions of well-known songs performed in a similarly listless style.

Artist Type:

Underpass

At the edges of the ever expanding, mutating category known as electro(nica) stands Underpass. Eschewing the strategy for multiple pseudonyms – so favoured by other producers – with neatly accompanying subgenres, he has operated solely under this name for some years. Truth is, in a scene sometimes guilty of generic electronica-by-numbers, with Underpass you never know to expect. Except, you know, sheer stamina.

Artist Type:

Moderat

Moderat are Modeselektor and Apparat. Moderat's formation began back in 2002 when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor) recorded an EP for the record label BPitch Control ("Auf Kosten der Gesundheit" / "At The Cost Of Health"). When it came time to begin working on an album, Moderat suddenly broke up. Meanwhile Modeselektor set a milestone in German music history with their sophomore album, Happy Birthday!, including musicians such as Puppetmastaz, Maximo Park and Thom Yorke.
