Mourning Tide

Gold Coast, Australia: 2000-present Gold Coast rockers Mourning Tide began in 2000, as four friends with the same vision: to be the most entertaining and unique band in the emerging hardcore/metal scene. Touring hard and partying harder has earned them a strong local following on the East Coast. In 2003, Mourning Tide released their successful self-titled debut EP, through Modern Music/Sony/BMG.

SPiT LiKE THiS

SPiT LiKE THiS is a band from London, England that was formed in 2002. Spit Like This (represented usually as SPiT LiKE THiS or abbreviated to SLT) is a four-piece rock band which plays their own original music. Not properly fitting into any single genre, they have variously been described as goth, glam, punk, rock, metal, and horror-goth-glam-punk. Shock’n’roll (a largely imaginary genre) has also been suggested as another arbitrary description of their music.

It started in '94 I put an Ad in the Rock City News Singer looking for band. Tracii Michaels called me up and invited me to a party In N Hollywood at the Candy cane lane (later Rock Stars Kill) Warehouse. Violent Playground was playing. I made alot of great friends that night. Revlon Red, Heart Throb Mob, Darling Dead, The whole LA glam scene. A few days later Violent Playground joined forces with me and Karole Denning and we were off.

Arcade

There are two Arcade's which inhabit this page now. The details for glam metal band appear first and then electronica act second --- Arcade was a short-lived outfit that included members from some of the biggest bands of the 80's glam metal scene. They recorded two great albums with little fanfare and eventually a chance at regaining past glories would tear the band apart.
Vocalist Stephen Pearcy left Ratt in 1992 and hooked up with drummer Fred Coury who had just walked away from Cinderella himself.

Heaven's Edge

Heavens Edge was a highly melodic rock band that flirted with AOR. They played a similar style to that of Harem Scarem but came upon the metal scene too late to make many waves.
Mark Evans (vocals), Reggie Wu (guitar/keyboards), Steven Parry (guitar), George "G.G." Guidotti (bass) and David Rath (drums) got together in Philadelphia, PA to form Heavens Edge. With an uncanny ability of fusing hard rock riffs with huge melodies, it wasn't long before their demo tape attracted Columbia records and resulted in a recording contract.
